4 College Freshman

Local Area: The best part about the town of Huntington is that the university is located near a chain of restaurants, such as Applebee's and Wings, Etc., as well as all of the major fast-food restaurants. Students will often go out in groups to these places and enjoy good food and nice fellowship. There are a few other things to do off campus. There is a Walmart that students frequently run to, and the local bowling alley hosted a PBA tour player back in the day. The atmosphere is truly amazing. Lots of students are really excited to go where God is calling them.

3 College Junior

Local Area: Huntington Indiana is a very small town with not a lot to do in it. I would say that the best thing that comes out of Huntington is its food. From small family diners to pubs with delicious foods and environments, there are plenty of restaurants that cover a variety of different cultures and tastes.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Everyone in the area of Huntington University is in support of the university, the closest city with any type of attraction is Fort Wayne, IN. There are more attractions there and minor league professional teams. During the summer there are air shows at the airport, and shopping. On the other hand, Indianapolis is about 90-120 minutes away from the university.

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: It's a fairly small town so restaurants and shopping are fairly limited.

4 College Freshman

Local Area: For living in a small town, everything is within walking distance like the bank, supermarkets, department stores etc. If you need a bigger city to go to Fort Wayne, Indiana is about 20 miles north.
