3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: At Humboldt I lived in Creekview which was an apartment style suite. It was very spacious for a dorm. There were 5 other people besides me in the whole suite, we all shared a kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen had a stove, microwave, and an oven so that made cooking very convenient and easy. The bathroom had two sinks so that also made things a little easier. The rooms themselves were also very spacious. Certain things that bothered me was the ability for things to grow mold so easily because of the weather always being on the lower side. But as long as everything was kept clean it was not that big of a problem. Because of all these amenities, Creekview was the most expensive dorm and the furthest away from the dining hall and classes because of its location on a hill. Everybody was very quiet there and mainly kept to themselves besides the rare occasion on a weekend when you could hear other students through your windows and as they walked through the trail behind the dorms if your apartment building was located on the left of the hill. If you're a first time student I would not recommend staying in The Hill dorms. That is the freshmen dorm so it is known for its loudness and reoccurring problems but, it is located nearest to classes and the dining hall, also being the cheapest next to Canyon and Cypress. Canyon rooms are pretty small but is also closest to classes and the dining hall like The Hill and Cypress. Cypress has a lot of stairs to get to and from campus, that being the only downfall besides the proximity of all the other dorms, making noise a problem.

Campus Food: I have only been to the market place and library cafe. It would be nice if there was a little bit more food in the library. The market place is quite nice, and has enough options. The cafe is a little small in the back though.
