3 College Freshman

Scholarships: the people at the financial aid office barely help you. you end up figuring everything out for yourself. i did

College Sophomore

Scholarships: If you are fortunate enough to receive one of Howard's Freshman scholarships (they generally cover all four years) do everything you need to do to make sure you maintain it because they will take it away with the swiftness. Trust me, I know from experience. I also know too many people who've gotten their scholarships taken away, and most of the time they end up leaving the school because Howard isn't particularly generous with their financial aid.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Howard has a system in which they award incoming students based off of their merit achievements. However, I wish there were more opportunities to increase financial aid based off of achievement at the actual institution.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Sometimes you feel like the're not doing everything they possibly can to help you. But they're overall friendly and know what they're talking about. Prayer is your best option where Howard finances are concerned.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The A building is an absolute mess. Most of the employees do not have the correct information and will send you on a wild goose chase for what you need. Although Howard is good with giving out aid your freshman year, they are also good with taking it away and leaving you stranded with no choice but to transfer to a cheaper school. It would be a great help if all the employees would just be on the same page and know the correct information for students.
