5 College Sophomore

Student Body: Many clubs, fliers and diversity.

3 College Junior

Student Body: They should be more active.

4 College Senior

Student Body: There's a lot of diversity on the HCC campus, but people tend to stay with their cliques. There's definitely some carry over of the high school stereotypes like jocks, artsy kids, stoners, video game nerds, etc. People seem to be more willing to intermingle than most high school students, but it's not perfect. The racial diversity is very apparent on campus. However, the LGBT community is not very prevalent on campus, nor are any ethnic or cultural clubs or groups. Students are not politically active on campus either. Students don't hang out much on campus. Most students seem to come to campus, go to class, and go home or hang out somewhere else.

5 College Junior

Student Body: Students here are VERY friendly. Lots of diversity in terms of race, religion, and interests. You will definitely be able to find a group of people to connect with, and make a few new friends as well.

5 College Senior

Student Body: There's always a friend for any kind of person. People are so welcoming and nonjudgmental; if someone is graduating from a Howard County school unsure what college is right for them, I always recommend HCC. There is no better feeling than knowing someone else in your classes and then being able to meet new friendly people.
