4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Living on campus is great for your freshman year and possibly your sophomore year. It helps you get to know the campus and there is a built in social group that comes with living in a dorm.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Dorm life on campus is great. Since I am a freshman, I can only speak for the freshman dorms. The atmosphere is very social and friendly, and the dorms themselves are reasonably spacious and actually have carpeted flooring. Dorms include a desk, bed (with integrated dresser), refrigerator, microwave, and a fairly big closet space. It is especially nice since you are literally a five-minute walk from all your classes. Not to mention cleaning ladies come by and do a light clean on the restroom every Monday. But here are some things I wish I knew before coming in: the bed mattress is hard like a rock, so I would definitely bring a mattress cover coming in. Also, if you live on campus, you are required to pay for a food plan, which is very pricey. In order to get into your dorm, you need to memorize two different 4-digit codes. The restrooms aren't that great either. (Some of the tile in the shower actually fell out!) But overall, campus living is very good.

Campus Housing: N/A I am a commuter, but I had stayed over a few times and some dorms are pretty spacious; while others..mmmmm..

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The housing is great but the items at the convenience store are expensive.

5 College Senior

Campus Housing: Living on campus is the best. The dorms are ver nice, especially in the Lakehouse (Hodo) and there are many useful amenities. Living close to your classmates makes it easier to make new friends, get involved on campus, and learn together. It is also ver convenient since the dorms are very close to the classes.
