5 College Student

Overall Experience: After being out of school for 3 years after high school, I really enjoyed my experience coming back. HonCC is filled with many friendly individuals with lots of Aloha! The class sizes are small to average, never over crowded which I think gives students a better chance to excel by giving more personal experiences with instructors. Staff at HonCC are very helpful and treat students like priorities and Professors really care about your education. HonCC is underrated and not appreciated as much as the school should be.

Overall Experience: The instructors understand that I am an older student and that I have been out of school a long time and the take care that I understand the work they give me. Also whatever help I need is provided.

4 College Student

Overall Experience: I definitely feel more welcomed from the people and the professors. Knowing that everyone is there to succeed, we're friendly enough to voluntarily help each other out. I would choose this school again because of the fun learning experiences that I've gone through in my class.

Overall Experience: So far, I've been placed in some fairly preliminary classes, however, it is very refreshing to be surrounded by those who actually want to learn. In high school, most of the students are just there because they have to be. Here, everyone wants to make the most of their money, and the teachers sense that, making them try harder and make sure we're getting the most for our money.

Overall Experience: Community college is nice because the class sizes are small and the teachers are able to zoom focus on their students. My experience is that my community college has a lot more options for tutoring and on site resources than bigger universities that I have attended. The cost is cheaper too. Still not affordable, but substantially cheaper than a major university. I love where I attend school. The staff is resourceful and the commute is easy.
