Academic Experience: Being a Heavy equipment student it's safe to say that job offers aren't going to be appearing soon. What the instructors fail to tell students is that most places want at least 5 years experience for just entry level positions. The work load is a joke, it's a few hours of lecture about things we've done in the field. The curriculum is very bare bones. The facilities, as well as the equipment, are in very poor condition.

Academic Experience: Class registration is a pain unless an instructor helps, and with the administration changing things every week it's to the point where the instructors aren't allowed to help students register.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The curriculum is well put together and touches on most aspects of the the desired degree. All the classes Hocking has to offer are very hands on and provides the necessary experience needed in the field of study.
