Academic Flexibility

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: In high school, I go to school five days a week from 8am to 2pm. But when I'm in college, there are times in my schedule when I only have 2 and 4 days of school a week; starting from 12pm to 2pm or 12pm to 4pm. The flexible schedule help me stay committed to my out of school commitment, like chores and taking care of my little cousins when I'm free.

Academic Flexibility: The Held program directors try their best to work around your schedule. If the schedule doesn't fit in your life they tell you what you really need and what you can do later. The Heald teachers really care about the students. For example they will tutor you on their own time and they are not getting paid to do it. The teachers will also answer your questions as best as they can, and the college has the latest technology to practice on.

Academic Flexibility: Even though there were a few obstacles that presented themselves, the faculty and students helped me to get through it.
