5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: In high school, I go to school five days a week from 8am to 2pm. But when I'm in college, there are times in my schedule when I only have 2 and 4 days of school a week; starting from 12pm to 2pm or 12pm to 4pm. The flexible schedule help me stay committed to my out of school commitment, like chores and taking care of my little cousins when I'm free.

Overall Experience: The dress code or the way students dress looks like your working in a company. This school is unique because everybody are nice, positive, and I feel safe in the school. Of course I will choose my school if I can do it all over because transitioning from high school to college made it easier compared to universities where I have 500 classmates and no one on one tutoring with your professor.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are usually small, about 30 or less. Class styles are more hand-on and visual. The professors are nice, they really want you to pass the class and get ahead. Courses they offer are computer, accounting, keyboarding, and etc. depending on your major, like medical, business, legal, and tech.

Academic Experience: I get to learn what is expected if I get a job at the office. In my major, I get a broad look about businesses, like basic accounting, and marketing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The schools tuition is just like any other school tuition, but you get your degree faster, because you can get your degree within two years. The financial aid staffs are really nice and friendly. They help a lot and explain things really well if you don't understand they will go the extra mile and explain every little thing. They also will help you go through everything if you did everything right. Overall the staff is really nice and helps you out.

Campus Resources: The LRC is a great place to study, because there are a lot of computers where students can study online, do their papers, or get additional information to write on their papers. Also there are tables where the students can do their work. The LLRC also has books for their majors. There are many activities and fundraiser, but they usually are during the day(I'm a night time student).

Academic Experience: I am majoring in Pharmacy Technician. The professors were in the field and had a lot of experience in the field from being the Pharmacy technician to being the technician. The program director is also very experienced in the field. Didn't take my internship hey. The work is a lot but very helpful.

Academic Experience: The professors are very helpful, give you time to do work, help when you need it and tutors the students on their own time. The classes are small, so the professors can really concentrate on the students. Since there is only little students in the classes is isn't uncomfortable, because you get to work or interact with all of them. There are many places to study, from the LLRC to the lounge area, because students can connect to the WiFi.

4 College Senior

Career Services: It sounds good because if you don't have a job and want help to look for a job, they will help you find one.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The Held program directors try their best to work around your schedule. If the schedule doesn't fit in your life they tell you what you really need and what you can do later. The Heald teachers really care about the students. For example they will tutor you on their own time and they are not getting paid to do it. The teachers will also answer your questions as best as they can, and the college has the latest technology to practice on.
