4 College Senior

Career Services: Specifically with my program, they make it easy for you to find a job right after graduation

Academic Flexibility: My school is very convenient. I'm able to be a full time student, work 20 hours a week and still have time for extra curricular activists

4 College Senior

Online Courses: It was easy to use and there was still a lot of student interaction

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: There's many classes to choose from, all taught by great teachers and the class size is faily small so it's easy to connect to them

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's community college so most kids continue elsewhere

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: I'm going for dental hygiene and they have a nice equipment to work with and practice

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's very nice, inexpensive and offers my program taught by amazing teachers.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am just beginning this nursing program, but I did experience this college after finishing high school and at that time the staff really cared about students. I have already checked out tutoring situation and staff really was about helping me with this. I'm getting really excited about all of it and the more staff guides me along the better.

Overall Experience: All of these responses are for the school I got my undergraduate degree from, Grinnell College. It was an excellent school and I got a great education.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I really enjoy my professors and how they engage the class in new ways of thinking and learning. I also really like the other students studying in my field.

Overall Experience: Hawkeye is a main provider in the state's physical therapist assistants and OTA workforce. Jobs are often offered to people right off the bat and internships are a requirement for graduation.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I frequently chose the online classes in favor to the traditional classes. I find that they work into my busy life and I can still learn effectively.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: The students are very diverse and opinionated. A vast majority of them are anti-"anyone who thinks different than me" and I tend not to speak with many of them.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition is very easy to work with and currently I have no student loans. I have been able to pay for my first year of college all out of pocket since I work so often however I would like to get to the point where I don't need to work outside of the school and focus more on my classes and program.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The PTA program is perfect. The first two semesters have been a bearable work load that I still feel challenged yet I am able to balance a part time job (with full time hours).

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: My professors have all been personable and intelligent in the topics we discuss. Curriculum is a bit repetitive in the psychology area though.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: For a community college, facilities are kept clean and updated.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Overall I am so happy I choose Hawkeye. I knew when I went on my first visit that this would be a great fit! It is also great they have housing right across the street, although not associated with the school, they do provide cheep small apartments for students and have apartments where you get assigned roommates like a dorm. You also have the option to room at UNI in their dorms and can participate in their school activities.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really do love my school!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: You attend a M.O.R.E. section which you meet with an advisor that helps you register for classes and they talk about things on campus and financial aid and everything else you would need to know.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I am not a very social butterfly as much as I wish I was. People are very nice though and once you get into your program you definitely build friendships!

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My first semester costed me less then $2,000 with books! I didn't have to pay a dime and got a reimbursement . They have a great rental program for books and you just return them and some books cost as little as $60.00! It is a great way to save!

4 College Junior

Career Services: I do not personally know but I hear they have great job placements and your professor will help you get in with the right people so you can work where you want. They hold job fairs every month and will help place you in a job while going to school either on campus or off.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I love my teachers, they will do anything to help me if I ask them for it. I am majoring in nursing and have fantastic teachers! I can not wait to get into the simulation lab! I picked hawkeye for their simulation lab.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Class registration is confusing, you don't know what you need exactly and it can be hard to get in the right times.
