Off-Campus Housing: Have fun living in the hood. Anything BUT HU's 1000$ per month single bedroom apts will be in the hood. oh and you have to stick two people into a one bedroom apartment that HU gets 1000$ per kid per month from. so 2000 for 800 square feet? You could afford a mortgage on a million dollar home with 6 bedrooms for 2k a month. Get your friends and do that instead.

Administration: If your thinking about going to Harrisburg University think again. All the reviews on this website are FAKE and made by the administration. The school is small, about 300 full time students, so you see all these reviews right in a row means they're being posted by someone that's sitting in an office getting paid to do so. The students at this school aren' online posting reviews, trust me. i go to this school and it's very corrupt. They dont care about you, and administration is finely selected by the presidents friends. Have an issue with your classes? Good luck getting that changed, office of registration is filled with a bunch of dumb arses. 50% acceptnace rate? My ass, if you can pay or you can get your financial aid to pay for this expensive school they WILL accept you. Theres some realllly dumb kids that go to this school just because they acquired tuition. All of my peers will openly admit that coming to this school was a HUGE mistake. It's basically the way it's run and how the administration treats you. Yes, some of the teachers are great and have valuble knowledge from the real world. Dont count on graduating on time, they will change your classes on you and cause you to take extra semesters. they do this because they cant afford to run a class if only 3 people register for it. once again, cause its a small school. So if you have an obscure major that not many kids are taking they simply wont hire the teacher to teach it and force you to wait semesters and semesters to take that class... If youre still reading and a potential student then good... This is the second website that pops up on google for "harrisburg university reviews".. and thats bad because this is filled with fake reviews posted by the administration.. This school features no meal plan, no sports, no extra curiculars, expensive parking (600 dollars per semester) housing that is 1000$ a month and you dont even get your own room to yourself. This school just wants your money. google watchinghu!

Off-Campus Housing: Lots of options and the prices are very affordable for city housing.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: A ton of options, the only issue is that some places close very early.

3 College Junior

Administration: They are nice, but they often mislead freshmen and give out wrong information because they don't realize they are doing it. This bolsters expectations and kills the retention rates in the dorms.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid is really good and the process is super easy. When I first applied, I was really worried about cost, but I am going on my fourth year here and I have never had a single problem.

1 College Junior

Party Scene: Not good at all. A bunch of people getting drunk on terrible alcohol standing around while worse music is played.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: The food options are great, but we don't have a meal plan meaning that there is no campus food. However, the school often offers free food on the 12th floor of the university which is always great.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: The housing is great and the rooms are very spacious. Although it is expensive, it is primarily due to it being University partnered housing, proximity to the school, and the fact that it is only one block from the capitol. The students in the dorm form a very family like environment and I honestly wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I just wish it was slightly cheaper.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Since I am moving out due to the pricing of the on campus dorms, I asked a couple of my friends, they seem to like it off campus. They seem to enjoy it and they never talked anything about the landlord so it seem as if they didn't have a probably at all.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Honestly everything around close between 4 to 7 (CVS or RiteAid) but some store stay open till maybe 2 in the morning since there are located near clubs and bars. It's hard to get to places because everything is far apart from each other...

College Freshman

Administration: I wouldn't know what to rate the Administration because they're very nice, way to nice and just the way they handle certain situations is pretty cool from where I am from. They're very kind and I like going to this school. Though it kind of strict, they are very kind and they even ask kindly.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: My financial aid is all payed off but my housing. It's so stressful because I thought housing was with the tuition and they people who works for my school told me and family something way different from the housing leader told me.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: Compared to last semester, I haven't been to any party since last semester. But last semester the party was amazing, even though the RAs kept coming in to stop the party but I mean, Hey, they're just doing there job.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: My campus doesn't really have food but at times there are wraps, desserts and yeah basically every morning there are free wraps in a certain room :). But other then that, food cost too much and it's a walk. Walk is good for you though, so I gave it a 3/5 star :).

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love where my dorm is located. I have a nice view of another building and the best art is sunlight. Nature lighting is important to me. I use to live across from the current room I'll living in and that room was very dark. I don't like darkness, it makes me feel sad and dull, makes me feel very tired. So I decided to change my room across and I am loving it. It's too bad it cost so much, I really like the dorms but the cost of per month is really stressful.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Right next to the school. Very convenient and big varies

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I don't really know yet but I've heard it's great

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors really care and take notice to you. They actually want you to succeed rather than just fail and take your money

3 College Freshman

Athletics: We don't really have one

4 College Freshman

Diversity: I've seen a lot of diverse people around campus and everyone gets along just fine. Some are close friends.

5 College Freshman

Party Scene: Teehee very cute and appropriate. No drinking. No drugs. Nothing to serious or scary to worry about especially with it being held within the dorm building and with high tech security.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I've been told they're great if you have a high GPA. I, personally, haven't had one yet.

5 College Freshman

Majors: I've been told it's hard at first but the professors are kind enough to help.
