4 College Junior

Academic Experience: they are one of about 5 colleges that have the accreditations of a 4 year interior design program

Academic Experience: As a history major, I have loved all of the classes and professors in my major. The teachers are all extremely knowledgeable about their specific area and are very clear in their lectures when describing historical events. I appreciate that the professors talk about events and ideas that were left out of my previous history classes. This keeps all of my history classes exciting and something I can look forward to every time I go.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Average classes in my opinion. Some drag on but their still ok.

Academic Experience: Harper opened up many opportunities for me while I attended there. Since I was majoring in Elementary Education, I took my Gen Ed's and also a few education classes. In my education classes, I learned a lot and got to observe on a different couple of occasions. I feel like I got the most out of my education. All of my classes were very flexible around my work schedule as well. I had a lot of free time between classes, making it easy for me to study and finish my homework so that way I wasn't overwhelmed when I got home.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: As a linguistics major, Harper College rarely had any full linguistics classes that were available for students during regular school hours (weekdays before the afternoon). The one time the classes (only 3 normally) fit my schedule, there were not enough students to take it, and it was cancelled. While linguistics is a discipline that is not as known or popular, it is still an important part of ESL and language interpretation and the likes, so there should be more availability.
