College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I haven't yet had an experience trying to find off-campus housing. I do, however, know that there is a variety of houses for rent close to campus.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: I love the amount of restaurants in Searcy, especially Casa Brava and Ihop. Many places give student discounts, and there are many Christian restaurants.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I love Public Safety and the strict-ness of the rules here.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I had to take out a lot of student loans, but I did get several scholarships.

College Freshman

Party Scene: To simply put it, Harding isn't a party school. By "night life," I am referring to functions and events of the social clubs. Also, people will go see a show or go out to dinner in the city less than an hour away.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: The caf has its on and off days. Some days it is really good, others (especially weekend nights) it isn't very good at all, especially for someone who doesn't like pizza. However, I do love the brunch on weekends and the salad bar.

Campus Housing: I am living in one of the newly renovated women's dorms, and I love it. The bathrooms are very nice and the rooms are nice and large. Even the not-so newly renovated dorms are nice. I love that there is a large variety of dorm options to live in, from regular suite-style dorms to three-person rooms to apartment-dorms.

Off-Campus Housing: I am a freshman so I do not know too much about that, but I know that it is not difficult to live off campus because a lot of people do.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is not many options right near the school, but there are more in Little Rock. Here in Searcy many places do offer good student discounts and there are enough options just not a lot.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I appreciate the rules at Harding and respect them. They are strict about the rules that are in place, and I think that is a good thing.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I got financial aid from my SAT scores, but that was really all I was able to get. Its helps, but more would definitely be better. My advice is to just do well on your SAT or ACT.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: We are a Christian school, and I love that. There are never any crazy parties or people getting drunk, but we have fun. There are always people to hang out with and fun activities with clubs. It's definitely not boring.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: In the cafeteria you can tell that they do try to make the food appetizing and good, but it's hard when they are cooking for so many people. Also on the weekends they just do not serve as much food because it's the weekend. Students also just get tired of going there for every single meal, but Chick fil a and Taco Bell are really good alternatives when you just are not in the mood for cafeteria food.

Campus Housing: I really love the social atmosphere here at Harding. I was worried about the size of the student body because I came from such a small high school, but it's perfect. While walking around campus I almost always see several people I know, and I stop and talk to them asking them about their day. It's a great Christian environment with friendly encouraging peers and teachers. I also was able to join a club while here, and I love it. The girls are so great, and it's an amazing feeling to be surrounded by so many people who truly care about you and want to get to know you on a deeper level. It's great to be at Harding!

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: a lot of restaurants in town. Usually spend 8-20 to a nice a restaurant

4 College Freshman

Administration: After certain time you can always get a ride to your dorms

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: My friends complain about car spots on campus...

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: No parties at harding university

Campus Housing: Living on campus at Harding is good because the other buildings are very close to each other. The dorms are nice and clean but the bad part is that your RA has to check if you are in your room every single day. You are allowed to sign out and you have curfew at 12:15 on weekdays and 1:15 weekends. Girls are not allowed on guys dorm.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The faculty is hands down the best in the nation!

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The attitude toward sports is great here. It's just not my thing.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid process was easy, but I didn't get enough money to cover my needs.

Health & Safety: As long as you stay on campus and lock your car doors, there won't be any problems.

Party Scene: Harding is not a party school unless you count hiking or nights in the dorm with a few close friends watching Netflix.
