Overall Experience: I love that the class sizes are small and your professor can actually get to know you and they truly car about your success in the class and your future careers. The school allows for a multitude of networking with students, professors and local businesses.

Overall Experience: Hamline University has a great feel of community and the faculty and staff what to do anything so that us as students will succeed in life during our time at Hamline and after. The only downside of Hamline is that the cost is constantly going up and there is little help, within the college, to pay.

Athletics: Sports aren't really that big a deal here, but the gym is dope

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I love the St. Paul area.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Food: The food is actually pretty damn good. They've even got healthy and ethnic options, etc. I love being able to buy Starbucks. What I don't like--that as an on-campus student, the meal plan is COMPULSORY

Scholarships: The scholarships are generous, but considering out costs they could stand to increase the financial aid packages..

Campus Housing: Some of the buildings are beautiful. The rooms can be a little claustrophobic for freshman [try for a quad if you don't mind the roommates!], and it's sometimes frustrating trying to snag a washing machine but otherwise I don't have many complaints. (Except ladies--pull your hair out of the sinks and showers!!)

Off-Campus Housing: Solid, affordable housing fairly close. Most students commute from all over the city though.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: Solid choices not too far away. Not a ton of cheap, good quality food though.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Got government loans, but thats about it.

Local Area: There is many things in the cities to enjoy and go visit. It seems like there is many activities to join as well if you are one who has the free time to go. You can see cultural differences and maybe even get to learn about them. Shopping is no doubt a big thing in the cities since the mall of america is here.

Guys & Girls: Even before I arrive at Hamline, I met so many new people who are all very nice both guys and girls. Typical look is smiley and focused. Social life is like how it is so easy to talk to someone. I have no relationships but would not mind having one anytime soon.

Health & Safety: My first time on campus, I was touring and I got a good vibe from the school. The place seems safe and well protected by security. I have not heard about any crimes or issues happening on campus.

3 College Student

Greek Life: I do not know a lot about the Greek life. I know they are pretty social and nice, at least the ones I know. I would consider becoming part of the Greek life.

Athletics: I know hockey is a major at Hamline and I am glad because I love hockey. I like how well the team of each sports all fit in and get along. Their teamwork is excellent and as well as their performance. I am a fan of baseball and hockey and hope to get to got to some games.

Off-Campus Housing: I will not be living off-campus because I would rather live on campus so I am closer but I feel living off-campus gives a person more freedom but more responsibility. I think the closer off-campus housing fills up faster so one would have to choose quickly. I do not know about parking but I feel like it would be difficult if one does not have a drive-way or reserved spot.

3 College Student

Party Scene: I have not been to a college party yet but hopefully will get to experience the fun soon.

3 College Student

Off-Campus Dining: I have not really had any off-campus dining but I heard that sometimes it is convenient for late nights and it is a great way to socialize outside of school. The costs of places depend on how you are with money.

3 College Student

Administration: It seems they are good with keeping things easy and policies are followed. When I took my roommate finder test it asked about noise and visiting times I would like and I could tell that the school is well respectful to it's students. I have not heard anything bad about Hamline which makes it seem like a great school.

3 College Student

Scholarships: I get really frustrated when it comes to figuring out things like this. After I tried getting it more organized, I realized I made it more of a hassle than it really was. The process was easy enough and I am glad I got it done.

3 College Student

Campus Food: I hope to be more healthy with my food choices and I do not want to be tempted into sweets or mouth-watering foods and Hamline offers those kind of foods. There are more variety ways to get food and what kind of food you want. The only place I have eaten is the food court in the Anderson building and the food was delicious.

Campus Housing: I am going to be living there this summer and am really excited. Hamline has great living space, especially the Soren dorm building which I hope I had received for a room. Everyone is really nice and easy to get along with. I was first afraid to be going to the cities for college but after getting to know the area a bit, it is easy for me to see I will be comfortable there.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: One of the best parts is living off campus.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not any good options that are close.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: The strictness is fairly light.
