The instructors are pretty good for the most part. I did have one who did not do any lectures the whole semester, she just walked around and helped us as we followed instructions from the book.

The real problem at Gwinnett Technical College is the administration they do not have their rules published and just make up rules to milk the students for more money. I had 100% completion of all classes that I needed to graduate and they wanted me to take 1 more class that was not a requirement for my program so the school could make some more money off of me. I complained about this and they basically said I could file a complaint through email.

I graduated from here with a Diploma in Computer Networking and I only ever got 1 temporary job from it. I told the school about my problem and got a form letter that said, "how unfortunate." I tried going to career services and they had me take a resume writing class. I took the resume to the Dean of Computer Science division and she said it was horrible and would just get tossed in the trash it was so bad. She did at least help me write a new one and that is the most help I ever got at this school as far as finding a job with my useless diploma.

If you need anything from the business office good luck! It takes them several days to return a phone call and any deadlines they promise you are usually not met in my experience.

They have online classes but there are better schools in Georgia Wiregrass Georgia Tech offers totally online Diplomas and Degrees. They have great customer service and return phone calls the same day. Most of the time you do not even need to leave a message.

There are a lot of clubs, a lot of study groups, a lot of things to do - if you want to. The Student Leadership group is very active and the leaders of that group work hard to engage all of the students - at least part of the time. They also work very hard to make the atmosphere in the various areas good for all the different types of students. Most of the students accept the others - there are very rarely any kind of issues - and those are addressed fairly quickly by school personnel and it's mostly based on different background behaviors. The school tries very hard to engage and include everyone!

My major at my school have internship and job fairs the internships are every semester. The career fairs are two months, I view my major as a program that always change in network technology, technology changes every day it is very different unique I enjoy learning about it. The workload for my program is fair It is not a lot of workload I take classes that fit my schedule. The curriculum for my program are Microsoft classes and you have to take two electives that are taught at my college. There are enough facilities at the school to provide me with to accomplish each of my task in my courses.
