3 College Freshman

Online Courses: Had one online class, professor did not care that you have other classes. The workload was HUGE.

Academic Flexibility: Classes start times ranges from early in the morning to late at night. Very convenient.

College Freshman

Overall Experience: Potential transfer student here, I wouldn't know nor care much about a degree from here.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very cheap and affordable and the guys in the financial aid office are helpful.

Academic Experience: Changing majors is literally THE worst. I planned on doing only transfer courses but signed up for a major just for the formalities; I haven't been able to switch since.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are some great professors and some professors that needs to be seated (it would help if they relearn what they are teaching).

College Freshman

Career Services: I don't know much about the job opportunities afforded to students after their graduate from here.

1 College Freshman

Campus Resources: We do not have a cafeteria on campus. Let that sink in for a second.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Students are mostly matured and very focused on their studies.

Overall Experience: Some of the teachers over at Gwinnett Tech can be helpful and some of them can be teachers who don't care to help you. Its better to make sure you ask around and know the teachers.

Academic Experience: The classes you take at Gwinnett Tech for a Criminal Justice major is absolutely amazing. My favorite class that I took was a Introduction to Firearms Training. It was a real hands on experience.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The class registration process is kind of hard to manage just because it can go away extra fast.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: The class size at Gwinnett Tech is perfect. Its not overcrowded as much as big college and universities are. You don't have to struggle to find a class because you can find it at a perfect time with no problems. You have your teachers that could help you after classes and before classes. The teachers also allow you to email them or any other students if you have any questions about homework assignments.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Gwinnett Tech could've made it easier for their students to receive financial aid. But the tuition for the school is a little rationale because it is a community college.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There is a variety of different races and sexualities at Gwinnett Tech. Many of the students get along with each other as well.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Gwinnett Tech is really great with transferring credits and also having great teachers to help you.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: They were able to have activities during classes about the different groups that they had at the college.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: My favorite thing about this school is how it's made for the field I'm interested in (Computer Sciences). This whole school is dedicated to that, and it means their equipment, staff, and experience are excellent for that particular subject, which is just what I need. Of course, this does mean they lack in areas that they do not specialize in (the arts, for example), but that is to be expected from a specialty school.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I definitely feel that I'm getting my money's worth at Gwinnett Tech - their adviser and financial aid offices are always open and eager to help me out, which is nice for a lost freshman like myself.

Career Services: I swapped between several schools during my time at High School, and from what I've personally seen, there is not nearly enough help out there usually. You often need to hear things "through the grapevine", or ask someone that graduated the year before you or so, since otherwise the little information you get is outdated or wrong. However, this has been this case not only for me but for many people I know as well, so what can I say?

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: Although online courses can often aid those that cannot reach the school through normal means, they often take out the interaction of face to face between the teacher and student and can lead to lack of interest for both parties.

3 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: You are pretty much on your own. It's up to you to visit the career center and job fairs that are offered.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: I was able to complete a few programs that I was interested in taking.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: The program classes was flexible to my schedule. Transferring credits was a limited amount.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I learn best online. Every assignment information is available at all times.
