Overall Experience: I have had some of the greatest professors. They have taught me a lot about the type of educator i want to be and what i want to offer the kids. I took Human Growth with Dr. Florie Mendiola and it was the best class ever. Not only does she care about your education, but your path and guiding you to achieving greatness and i am not just saying this. she is really an inspiring person! i also took into to teaching with Mrs. Doreen Pereda and let me just tell you she keeps you on your toes with lots of work, but hey your learning. You gain and learn so much in her class that will prepare you for your education field success! I had to visit schools for her class and it was one of the best experiences ever. Glad i took these two wonderful ladies. You should too.

Academic Experience: Each major has their own building or somewhat. Anyways, i am an education major and i can assure you will get the best out of your education here at Guam Community College. There is much help from the education department, students, and more. It is a hands on learning experience. It feels like i never left high school. Which is great for those who are still transitioning. The program offers certificates and associates degree in education. they don't offer bachelor's( the only con) but, it is very cheap! The work load of course can get heavy, but if you work hard, stay on track, and keep your head in the game you can do it!!! :)

The curriculum is great as well. You learn a lot and do so much activities regarding your degree program and such. I am not sure about the college having internships, but you can always check out the school's website at www.guamcc.edu. It is very helpful.

Overall Experience: Honestly, i thought i needed my friends or my parent to be with me; to guide me through the whole process. Turns out i didn't need anyone but, myself! It was that easy. There were signs as to where all the paper work can be picked up, how to fill it out and also great students in the office that were helpful. Also when applying for financial aid, i had the best help. I hope you'll enjoy as much as i did! Good luck :)

Campus Resources: For my first time attending college. The buildings are clean, the library is awesome, the book store needs more supplies aside from books.

Academic Flexibility: I love the experience at Guam Community College. It is very hospitable and the instructors and staff are very patient with the students. The only problem I have is that there are not enough evening classes offered. I have had to stretch the classes by semester prevented me from obtaining my degree in the amount of time I wanted to.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Seems diverse which is a great thing

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Met great people along the way, Learning is fun

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: Have not been exposed to job prospects and the career center

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The only thing that frustrates me is that certain courses are only offered either during Fall semester of spring semester. It is difficult to enroll because there are not enough evening classes and that is the time I am able to attend school. I am a single mom that can not afford daycare. I've researched colleges in the states and have seen that they provide day care on their campus and many financial assistance is offered compared to here on Guam.
