Academic Flexibility: I haven't experienced any frustrations with my grades or transferring any information.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: This school is unique because of the different programs that are offered. For example, I am in the Forensic Field so Grossmont has an excellent program for this field. Other colleges do not offer these courses.

Online Courses: The workload is perfect. I have never felt overloaded with work at anytime. The help from the professors is very professional and very useful. The peer to peer interaction is great. I feel that everyone seems to be friendly even if they don't know you.

Student Body: The student body here at Grossmont is very positive. I feel for the most part, every student I have come across, seems very eager and interested in learning. It's a great feeling to be surrounded by people who feel the same as you.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The teachers I have had are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the students fully understand what was taught. There are many internship and different programs available for many different types of studies.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The process with registration is very easy. The directions they send you are very east to understand. The professors seem to really care about students and their classes they are involved in.

Campus Resources: The campus itself is very nice and easy to locate classes. The student centers are always clean and always has someone there eager to help you out. I am very satisfied with Grossmont College and would recommended it to anyone.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The Grossmont website was a list of available classes and what credits they provide. It also provided the IGETC which I followed. The only frustration I have had is, I have done everything on my own. I meet with a counselor once and never did after that. They didn't really help me with what to take. So I followed the IGETC and did it on my own. I wish the counselors could have been a little more help.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose my school again in a heartbeat. I have truly enjoyed playing volleyball for this school and the level of education I have received. I was able to get community college done in two years and now transferring to a UC. I appreciated every single one of my professors and know their vibe made this experience the best.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I loved the quality of my courses, my knowledge has expanded greatly. The class sizes were small in a great way. The professors allows came prepared and were willing to help and answer any questions. I noticed all my professors loved what they were teaching and loved to teach. It made the whole experience better.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The only degree you can receive from Grossmont is an Associates Degree. I have earned one but I will also be transferring to a 4 year to receive a Bachelors Degree. I don't think we have a career center on campus, I'm not sure.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: At Grossmont there is a ton of diversity and everyone is accepted. I didn't interact much outside of my classrooms and the volleyball team. Since no one lives on campus it does make it harder to interact because people got to school and leave and you wont "see them around".

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process was amazing. I simply turned my paperwork in and 2 weeks later they had all the information I needed. It didn't take long at all and it was all done before school even started! The financial aid office was always willing to help and were straightforward. Some tips would be turn your paperwork in as soon as possible and always be checking up on it to make sure everything is correct. I never had a problem but I also made sure there wouldn't be a problem.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I will be transferring to UC Merced this fall. As for Grossmont College I never saw a career center and I haven't heard of any job prospects. That will probably be happening at the 4 year school I will be attending. As for Grossmont I don't really have a great answer for that.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Being at a community college getting ready to transfer, Grossmont did a very well job at providing classes I will need for my major. I'm transferring with all transferable credits and the counseling center did a good job at getting on the correct track. The facility is amazing, small classroom sizes and flexible office hours.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I was allows able to get the classes I needed and every professor I had was a great teacher. The workload was do able. I played volleyball, worked part time, went to school and allows had time to finish my assignments.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: You can always find someone to help in the student center. The athletic center is probably one of the best I have ever seen.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: A lot of the GE classes clash schedules and you have to make a way to would around it for the whole week.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: If this school did not have a way for me to meet with friends and talk to other students, I would not go to this school.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors vary, depending on who you get, but the classes all seem to be very informative on the subject unless the teacher does a bad job of teaching it.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: You don't get the face to face conversations with your teachers like you would with on-campus classes, but its easier to deal with assignments and homework you are given.
