5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Administration is great. They are all really nice and are ready to help you right away.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Its a great place to go if you hated High school, have bad grades, and need a second chance.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Class sizes are great.

Profs will talk to you, you arnt just a name on a piece of paper.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: They have job fairs offering meanial jobs and internships. Army Recruiters are there almost everyday, to get you to join the military.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: If you like doing things from home or at starbucks, this could be for you. I didnt really enjoy it that much because its quite impersonal and there isnt any discussion most of the time. If there is a discussion its quite fake because its usualy forced/graded. Most people will just say how interesting your point was and agree unless you are dead wrong.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There isnt a lot of interaction between students unless you are looking for it. I usually just go to class and go home again. Most people are like that, so no one really cares what you choose to believe as long as you dont try to force others to believe it.

5 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: You get a lot of bang for your buck in my opinion.

Didnt need Financial aid.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Registration is really easy and fair.

They offer a lot of different courses.

Professors are really nice, I never had a bad teacher.

Workload is fine, one doesnt ever feel swamped by work.

The programs that Green River is known for are mostly General AA degrees and their trades and crafts programs are well known.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I like to take my classes early in the morning so I can get on with my day and I feel that there is a wide range of early morning classes which really helps me out.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I like how small it is and the possibility that you will have people in classes over and over. You recognize people on campus and you don't feel like you get lost in the crowd.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I really like the school. Most teachers are very nice and helpful. The classes are not to big so you do not feel like your teacher is just talking to a crowd. There is interaction and it helps me learn.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I have not seen that many career people standing on campus helping students out.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: From the classes I have taken online, they are very informative and easy to understand.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There is a lot of diversity at my school. Many transfer students from Asia go to green river.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition, I feel, is slightly high. Especially with online classes where you are practically teaching yourself the material. Those classes are still close to 600 dollars. They should be lowered if a teacher isn't really there to help.

5 College Freshman

Career Services: They are great. They are always there to answer questions about your possible future career choices and want to see you succeed.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I love my program. The workload is not that bad. The four year program is new though, so they are working out the bugs.

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The school is good. I have had a couple teachers that can be very bipolar which can get annoying as you do not know what to expect from them. Also our administration has cut four programs in the last month so there is a lot of tension between faculty and the admin.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: There are many different programs at green river that are great for students. They are updating many of the buildings to bring it into the 21st century.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: The counseling services are easily accessible and available at great hours. The campus bookstore has very friendly and helpful staff that are usually fellow students.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Respectable degrees that can be easy to transfer in the state of Washington if you get a DTA degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The corse classes that are required and 100 level classes offer lots of classes at a lot of time. The more specific classes or high up level classes sometimes only offer the class at one or two times

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There are a lot of international students here which always make for an interesting time.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Have had many great teacher who always keep the class moving and energetic. Have had only one teacher I do not like yet.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Lots of friendly people who are really willing to help. Seems to be rather excepting of all sexual orientations and all races. Quite a diverse place as there are a lot of international students here.
