I transfered from Iowa State University to Grand View University and I have never been happier with the education I am receiving. The professors are always willing to help you with anything you may need, yet push you to find the solution to your problems yourself. The Biology program is very prestigious due to the lab classes and the low professor to student ratio. I have no concern about proceeding onto med school due to the strong ties that GVU has with Des Moines University. A professor from DMU teaches a class at our university in the cadaver lab! This program was absolutely worth the transfer.

Great Program – I'm enrolled in Grand View University's History Program and I enjoy the program immensely! The main focus is on American History (my particular area of interest). This being so, each course goes deep into the topic using textbooks, primary documents, and documentaries. The courses are taught in a way that you receive various viewpoints on each topic. The professors in this field are also very good. They are knowledgeable on the topic and very passionate about what they teach! Overall, I enjoy the History Program at Grand View and would recommend it to anyone interested in the History Field.

Great Courses – Grand View has great courses to take! I chose history as my field of study and I wasn't let down when I decided to look into Grand View. All of the courses are taught by professors who really care about the topic and the student! The courses are also taught through primary documents! Instead of just reading about a topic, like you get from textbooks, the professors challenge you to read documents from the era being examined! This leads to a much higher understanding and proficiency in the topic that you choose to study! All of the upper-level courses require you to write term papers in a graduate level format! Although exceedingly challenging, this is helping prepare me for what is to come through doing in-depth independent research. The courses at Grand View are definitely top notch!
