Academic Flexibility: I took 2 classes outside GCU and they helped me to understand the policies of that. There is limit to take classes outside but for specific reasons. Nursing school is best here. They transferred my credits without any difficulty.

Online Courses: Online courses are also best because these are same as traditional classes. Students can see there professor in person too with appointment. For peer interaction there are dq's, which help professors and students to know each other.

Career Services: After finishing degree here is Surety of getting jobs. They prepare us for our jobs too. If one is doing post graduated degree here, means successful future.

Academic Flexibility: Everything about GCU was very convenient. I've just about demolished two laptops working towards this degree as it was convenient to do the work online. The class work load did get heavy sometimes, but it was never out of reach to complete any assignment. There is nothing I would trade for my being a part of GCU family.

Online Courses: The workload at GCU is comparable. It is possible to complete assignments on time. The professor really do help their students succeed, but the student has to apply themselves by doing the work required. The students also do a good job of interacting with their class members. There is a lot of support between the students as we discuss the lessons and the real life issues.

Overall Experience: The courses and the professors are an intricate part of the learning process for GCU students. Each class was a learning experience that answered questions about my beliefs, education, social stratus, learning and thinking styles, and offered me a peak into a bright future. The professors have all been top notch. The teachers have all pushed us to do the best we can and then some. The teachers made us aware of the expectations each student needed to meet in order to succeed.

The class sizes have sometimes been large and on occasion there were only a few students. The size of the class didn't matter. Each student performed to the best of their ability. Each professor addressed the classes from the beginning as to what they expected of us. There was always the feeling that the professors were in our corner and giving us as much help and interaction as was allowed by school policy. For these reasons, each student's level of integrity has grown and each of us will be able to practice such behavior as long as we live.

Overall Experience: One thing that will work in favor of each student is that although their major has certain core classes, students also get to participate in in elective classes and also classes that prepare them for the real world. Looking into the career center helped me to see that there are intern opportunities that will also enrich our learning experiences.

Academic Experience: My major at GCU is Christian Studies. It is awesome to realize how much growing I've been exposed to while studying the Old and New Testaments and the characters within them both. You begin to see how God can use ordinary people and their own culture to explain Kingdom principles.

The workload in some of the classes were heavy at times, but they were also achievable. Each student had to take responsibility for themselves and put class assignments very close to the top of their things to do lists. It was a blessing to then be able to share with my church family what I've been learning at GCU within my messages on some Sunday's. I've been practicing being a minister/evangelist and now assistant pastor for some time. I'm really looking forward to the advantages that will come with this degree.

It seems like the end has been so far away, but I know it is not nearly as far away as it has been. I'm so thankful for all the professors and counselors who have helped me succeed. God has certainly helped Grand Canyon University build a community of believers and achievers who willingly take their calling serious enough to then go and compel others to come and see for themselves what can possibly become of their lives.

Overall Experience: My experience at GCU has been awesome. The biblical class have taught me so much. My school is unique because it keeps God first in it's academic view for students. No one religion is criticized. The classes help us recognize the origins of all religions and provides a better view of why we believe what we believe. I would choose Grand Canyon University again and again.

The student portals are easy to navigate and you come away from each class feeling like you've learned something you can carry throughout your life. I've discovered my learning style and my teaching styles. You don't really know what skills you possess until someone visually shows you something you've been doing all along.

I've connected with a couple people here and there who continue to prove that GCU is diverse and anyone who is determined to learn has a great opportunity to succeed if they persevere to the end of their academic journey.

Academic Experience: The only thing I don't like about being a Music Ed major is the mandatory 2 extra courses per semester each worth zero credit.

Academic Experience: A counseling degree is based on passion first then self motivation. Online courses help those with jobs that want education and experience at the same time.

Academic Experience: My major takes a very close look at the Bible, studying God's word as well as teaching leadership skills. Within my degree, i have learned leadership skills such as how to manage people and help others who are in need. I have also learned how to become more Christ-Like in my day to day life, helping me to become a better person and in turn allowing me to go out into the world and help others.
