College Freshman

Career Services: I don't know yet... I take classes online and am not yet at the point where I need to work with the post-grad services.

Academic Experience: I really like my program. I am a double major in intervention specialist and early childhood. This school really focuses on the intervention specialist part. we have specific classes on different characteristics of certain disabilities. Most of the other schools I checked out treated the major as a early childhood degree with a little intervention specialist on the side.

Academic Experience: My professors all seem to want to help me succeed. The classes can be challenging but I really feel like they are preparing me. The advisors that help me register have all been supportive and done their best to get back to me with any information I need as soon as they can.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I am an online student. They provide a number of academic resources online but I do not know much about the physical resources on campus.

Academic Experience: There are many study places and students who are willing to help eachother strive here. The workload is hard, but managable. The jobs opportunites are about how hard you're willing to work, and there are places to help you learn to do that here on campus.

Academic Experience: Professors are on campus after class, and are usually willing to give the one on one that is rarely heard of in secondary education.

Student Body: The close knit community like atmosphere does not define the love expressed for all of God's children here at GCu. We help our community inside and out.

Campus Resources: I have friends who attend other colleges, and some have sated the comparison to a riding a public bus (their school) to having a private driver (Grand Canyon). This is obviuous notation of the atmosphere here at GCU. Everything about this school screams community.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring credits to GCU was quick and painless. Everything that they told me would transfer over did and then some.

Overall Experience: I would choose GCU again and I will in future should I choose to earn my Masters in Nursing... which they offer! :) I love everything about GCU and their online program. Their consistent format for every class allows you to get into a great rhythm and helps manage your time efficiently. The cost was a little steep for me in the beginning, but now I feel that it is worth every penny.

Overall Experience: The quality of the student advisers, courses, and professors is superb. It is obvious that everyone loves what they do and they want to see you and help you succeed.

Overall Experience: Earning my BSN will provide me with great opportunities within my current employer and beyond should I choose to seek work elsewhere. It is a great educational investment for my future.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: GCU uses the LoudCloud platform for the classroom Forum, assignment submission, etc. It has been great so far with minimal to no problems. Peer-to-peer and student-professor interactions are easily facilitated though this platform.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Based on the online experience so far, it appears that there are students of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. It is great and interesting learning about everyone's reasons and road to getting to GCU's online program.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The cost of the program has been very straightforward so far, I even qualified for a small discount through an education partnership with my employer and GCU. Communicating with the Financial Aid office has been smooth as was the financial aid process.
