Goucher College Reviews
Rating 3.49 out of 5 892 reviews
It's a great school for people with fire under your seat and are naturally ambitious. The student body is not very competitive so it'll be relatively easy to rise to club presidents/sports stars while remaining a top performing student. However, if you are not someone who's a self starter you'll find it harder to achieve that level of success.
Goucher is a good academic school has teachers that are very engaging and a place that listens to its students however if you are looking for a lively place this isn’t really it most weekends are quiet no parties no outside life etc. With that being said there is a mall walking distance from the school markets bowling and arcade and some fast food spots near by. Overall the housing could be better after the first year the housing situations are mediocre but could be way worse.
Goucher college is a unique place for students. I think this is an college where if you find your niche group of friends and community you can thrive. It also allows students many opportunities if they want to reach out and take them. However, this school is not for everyone and that is okay. Overall the school has been changing since COVID and hopefully to prioritize its students more.
