Academic Flexibility: Most of my credits from CCSU and Capital Community College transferred over to Goodwin. This was both general core classes like english and algebra as well as electives and humanities courses like abnormal psychology and life-span development. Any questions I had the advisors were easily able to answer for me in a reasonable amount of time and I don't think I had to repeat any course which I did have to do when I transferred from Capital to CCSU.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I did many of my pre-reqs online and had no trouble. It allowed me to keep working and to do things on my time and even work ahead of schedule.

4 College Junior

Career Services: They have a career services center and they also offer higher degrees in many fields for those who want to continue their education.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really haven't had any professor that I would complain about except for one A&P instructor who just never seemed to give us any real direction. The quality of the labs though are great. You definitely get your moneys worth in there. The class sizes are pretty small and the convenience of scheduling is great.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: They have a career services center which is open to students who are enrolled and then accessible to alumni as well. They will help with resumes and even job placements.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm in the nursing program now and it is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. It takes up a lot of time outside of the classroom but the instructors are willing to help. They have a tutor specifically for the nursing students and the head of the nursing department is wonderful and accommodating if situations arise. All day clinical experiences are nonstop and you are exhausted by the end of them; but it really is hands on in hospital settings.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The online classes worked well for me and the hybrid classes were a dream come true; you get the best of both worlds. The material is difficult and these professors expect you to do the work. There is no such thing as slacking off. All the professors I have had so far seemed to get to know each of their students individually each semester. It is expensive, so if you aren't willing to put in the time and effort don't waste your money.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Not a problem transferring credits, thankfully it was an easy transition.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Career prospects and the value of a degree from Goodwin College is an excellent choice. Students who graduate in their respective degrees are placed in their career of choice because employers know they have had fieldwork experience and hands-on classroom education and mentorship training, through fieldwork and learning from teachers who are currently in their field of study.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors work in their field of study. Class size is small on average, courses offered is more career and science based rather than a liberal arts course of study.

5 College Senior

Academic Experience: Occupational Therapy Assistant, fieldwork experience, teachers in the field, excellent support for job opportunities in my field of study.

5 College Senior
