Academic Flexibility: Teachers are very easy to work with. I have had no difficulty scheduling classes. I have not attempted to transfer any credits.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I have only taken one online course and I found it a good relief from the traditional classroom. The teacher was great at breaking down due dates and there was an average amount of peer-to-peer interaction.

Career Services: Guidance counselors are really great at helping students with transferring and there are a lot of career days. Instant decision day is a great opportunity to students looking to transfer and to network with alumni.

Overall Experience: Some teachers at my school are really incredible, some are not. I would highly recommend other students to check ratemyproffessor.com before taking a course, this will truly increase the level of their educations. I find that the more students enjoy a class and teacher, the more that they will learn.

Overall Experience: There have been many opportunities on campus to transfer to four year colleges or to apply for internships and jobs. There have also been military recruiters who have come to campus to help students transition to join the armed forces.

Academic Experience: My school is affiliated with Rowan University, which is a really great teaching school. I will be able to take the same classes for a cheaper rate and have an easier time transferring to Rowan after I earn my associates degree.

Overall Experience: I would assume that most schools have a mix of teachers who are incredible, and those who are not so incredible. Gloucester County is definitely in this category. I would choose this school again because it is a very relaxed environment. Even if a teacher does not suit your learning style well, there is a tutor center on campus that offers free individual and group tutoring, which is very advantageous if a student is looking to do well in school.

Academic Flexibility: Register early and you've got all the options just make sure you make your payment by the deadline or you will be kicked out of that class and it may not be available by time you realize. They offer day and night classes so anyone can attend here. If transferring out of state make sure you speak to the school you're transferring to, to find out exactly how your credits will transfer over and what classes are equivalent. DO NOT listen to the advisors at RCGC/GCC about what will transfer because they don't know and you will wind up wasting a semester of your time and money on classes you'll now have to repeat.

Online Courses: I took two online courses and both were very different. Medical terminology was a cut dry course, read the information and complete the work that went along and then take your test. Sociology was very different(In a good way) The teacher had us use a discussion board to answer questions and help one another. We were required to respond to at least 3 other students responses and it made you share your view with other people. The work load can be intense if you can't manage your time or want to keep putting it off.

Overall Experience: I had some awesome professors that would take the time to help you if you asked or they noticed you were struggling but on the other hand there are some awful professors that have no idea what they're talking about. My advice is to use ratemyprofessor and know what you're getting yourself into. Introduce yourself to your professors and make sure you're active in class and come to class. Class size is no more than 30 people so its easy for you to get extra help if you need it. Know what type of learner you are, If you're no good with computers AVOID hybrid classes because a lot of class material will be online based with some face to face classes.

Overall Experience: You will only leave this school with an associates degree but the tuition to attend rowan to further your education is reasonable they have a bridge program.

Academic Experience: Was taking the pre-reqs needed for a nursing program at another school (Costal Carolina). I gave my advisor the classes that I needed to take and she told me classes X,X,X were equivalent to what Costal required.... well she lied so only 2 out of 8 classes transferred. I really felt like they aren't willing to help you as much if you aren't doing their nursing program.

Overall Experience: If you need help with financial aid good luck, they only contact you once a deadline is in 3 days so you have to run around trying to get everything they need. Classes are easy if you do the work and readings. Some teachers are not in any way technical so be prepared to sit for 30 minutes before the lecture starts. Registration can be a pain sometimes and kick you out of the class/time that you wanted. Getting a registration pin # has been hell for me recently. They gave me a wrong pin # and haven't done anything about it even after I've went to the school to speak to someone about it twice. The professors for the most part want you to succeed but won't just hand you an A when you don't participate and never attend class.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am very satisfied with the courses I have taken thus far. There is a wide variety of courses to choose from for such a small campus. The professors I have had the opportunity to have have all helped me to improve in numerous ways.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: This program is very difficult, however it is an honor to be a part of.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: RCGC is a very close community. There's always someone there to help when needed, whether it be a another student, a professor, or an advisor. The campus is very easy to navigate and well taken care of.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The nursing program is extremely difficult and they basically set you up to fail.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Professors care about their students.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I appreciated being able to have a flexible schedule, as I also work full time

4 College Senior

Online Courses: I loved the flexibility and responsibility of the online course

3 College Senior

Career Services: I did not have interaction with the services.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: I personally had a great time attending, I was able to finish most of my General Education credits with lovely people.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: The prospects of getting a job straight out of here aren't high, as most places require a bachelors.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: It all depends on the professor

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Loved starting my college life here. It was a place that enouraged responsibility, while catering and caring for us as individuals
