2 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I just don't really enjoy the school.. There are so many changes and I just feel like it has no stability. I can't wait to transfer.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I got a job at the wellness center and its an okay job, i guess

5 College Junior

Academics: Great professors are here at this school. There is also a wide variety of majors and programs to get into. The registration process is quick and easy and the study abroad trips are always something to look forward to!

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: It's not bad at University Village. I feel it is too expensive, but it is clean, and comes fully furnished and you don't have to pay for electricity, AC, Heat, water or anything.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: There's no serious crime or any other form of assaults on campus.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Not the best yet not the worst.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career center really helps you find a job you want.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: It is ok to live in but can get boring. The lottery process is unfair and unjust.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life isn't as big as other schools.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Basketball and golf are a big part of my school.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: My school really focuses on education but lacks school spirit.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: I am a physics major and based on that, the physics department lacks support from the institution therefore the physics students and other pre-engineering students do not have the quality experience they need. The institution lacks the labs materials and machinery that could benefit the growth of physics graduates.

Overall Experience: The professors are professionals and keep interested students engaged.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The quality of network is average and career services offers average assistance.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I find myself walking alone on campus at night all the time and I always feel safe.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The campus is very clean and the department buildings are close to each other. It is quiet, most days, and the landscaping gives the campus a very peaceful look.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not aware of their participation in any communal activities or volunteer work although I spend most of my life in the college campus. Their graffiti artwork and loud groups cannot be missed in the commons area unfortunately.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The school is great especially for liberal and medical students. As a physics major, the school lacks the technology and machinery needed to advance the physics department.

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: There is minimal school spirit.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel relatively safe on campus. Campus safety patrols the campus 24/7. There are Emergency buttons all around campus. I also take safety measures of my own. For example, if I am walking alone at night, I do not listen to music through headphones or earphones so that I am constantly able to hear others around me. I also try not to be too enthralled in my phone on social media when walking alone. We have campus security checks regularly to ensure campus safety. Most crimes on campus are small traffic violations such as speeding or receiving a parking ticket for parking on campus if you don't have a parking pass.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The courses offered are very diverse. Professors and advisors tend to motivate students to take a variety of courses they may be interested in. Class sizes are fairly averaging around 30 students. Intro classes are usually larger, but once you start entering your major courses, they tend to level out. Professors in each department are helpful and have many means of communication ranging from email, phone, and even Skype conferences. Some classes are based solely on lectures and note taking, whereas others are based on open discussion.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Students have a variety of positions to apply for on campus. There are also many opportunities offered to students through our career services. Students have opportunities to do internships on campus and in the community. Some departments have assigned professors who work with the companies offering internships. A lot of times, there are jobs posted on the walls of each building on campus that are looking for student workers. Companies also work well around student schedules.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Housing is not great, but it's not terrible either. We do have lots of events that occur throughout the school year and most times they offer free food to students that attend. We have a pool, volleyball court, basketball goal, game room, computer room, and laundry room. Students tend to meet with friends who live in other dorms across the lawn in the center or grill food in nice weather. It is very cost efficient to live in the dorms because we only pay for living expenses once at the beginning of each semester. They are also very good at placing students together during the housing lottery if students request it.

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: The sororities and fraternities on campus host a lot of events for the students that are free and inspirational like food drives for the communities. Most students on campus don't think badly about Greek life, however, it is pricey to join. There are no specific Greek housing on campus. That would require demolishing buildings around campus or moving members of the community out of their homes.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love this school because it has a great connection with the community. Professors work hard to help students not only understand the course material, but also help with future jobs and aspirations. Students are given great work opportunities simply from being in the area such as working for Master's Week. I would choose this school again if given the chance. It has rich history, it is the most affordable research school in Georgia, and the merging of schools has opened even more opportunities for students to enter in their desired fields of study.
