Parking: Even with the addition of two new parking lots, it is still quite complicated to find parking places due to the large amount of students each semester.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus area that I chose is located only 10 minutes away from school and the neighborhood was fairly new and quiet.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Campus dining while limited, is pretty good. It's slightly on the more expensive side, but most campus dining halls are. The service is normally really good & quick, I'm able to stop and get food in between my classes.

Off-Campus Dining: There aren't too many restaurants right by campus, but if you drive a couple miles down the road to Washington Road, there are a plethora of choices for food, ranging from fast food like McDonalds to nice dine-in restaurants like Olive Garden.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: Transportation is great for those that stay in the dorms, but if you are driving on your own, parking isn't great :-(

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is pretty moderate, but I wish it would snow every now and then.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: I feel as if ASU has plenty of diversity, but there is definitely room for more. There does seem to be more white people, but not much, much more.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: I haven't really seen many places out here then again i dont go out either

5 College Junior

Technology: There are so many computers available on campus. We even have a couple of 24hr labs. I really appreciate having the latest software when I have to use a computer on campus.

4 College Junior

Weather: The weatther really isn't a factor because there are so many great indoor locations on campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: The food is not bad. The menu has improved a great deal. The college seem to always try to make the menu better and provide variety.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Although drugs and alcohol is popular at colleges, I have not witnessed it at ASU. I'm sure it's there, however, I have not seen any outward signs.

5 College Freshman

Campus Quality: I have recently transferred to ASU (now known as GRU) and so far the campus is really fun.

Athletics: Sports are relatively important. Obviously there are some sports that have more fans than others. We do not have a football team but our basketball is huge and they are really good too. The Augusta residents even come out and support the teams.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: My safety has never been an issue at ASU, soon to be GRU. I've never had a reason to feel unsafe.

2 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life isn't very dominant at ASU, soon to be GRU. There are fraternities and sororities around and they have their events but not too many people are really active in it.

4 College Junior

Weather: Rain, Rain Don't Go Away! Local weather hardly affects campus experience. If it snows - school will definitely be closed fortunately!

4 College Junior

Party Scene: Greek Life Organizations hold parties usually on the weekends, and you can be either invited openly or exclusively. ASU is close to downtown Augusta however which has a thriving nightlife if you're in the right place. The really exclusive and nice ones are generally 21 or older, however there are several 18 and up places as well.

Guys & Girls: Vibrant Crowd – Augusta State has a vibrant and diverse community of students. There are several races and ethnicities, and everyone can be attractive from the inside and outside.

Technology: Most computer labs at Augusta State are crowded on a daily bases. It is deeply recommended that you bring a laptop and connect to the student WiFi.

Majors: I am very happy in the music program. everyone is so involved around campus as well I would take this course over as many times as possible. In the near future(in about six years) I hope to have graduated and obtained my teaching degree in music vocal education. it is my goal to become an elementary school music teacher. the only thing that worries me about this future is that thanks to budget cuts some schools are forced to remove their fine arts programs.

3 College Student

Majors: I am currently enrolled in the music program at asu. it is a very exciting program based off merits earned though long hours of practice at both school and home, as well as many hours in the classroom and with private instructors.

5 College Junior

Weather: Weather here is great! We rarely have snow or ice.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The public transportation is very good at Augusta State. The buses run from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Mon-Thur. They extremely reliable to get to any area on campus, but mostly to University Village or Christenberry Fieldhouse, since they are located off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Technology: The computer labs are generally available and the ITS on campus is great. Wireless connection is patchy though.
