4 College Sophomore

Transportation: Pretty good if you get to know the drivers. You'll love 'em! They're super chill, super nice, and just good people working an honest job.

3 College Senior

3 College Freshman

Transportation: Taking a taxi in milledgeville only costs $5 tops which is not that bad, and the shuttle is great for day classes. However come night time you better have a car, prepare to walk, or have money for a cab.

3 College Junior

Transportation: I walk most places on campus, but the shuttle runs well most of the time.

4 College Sophomore

Transportation: The shuttle runs until 3 a.m. on Thursdays which is great! Most things are of walking distance from main campus but if you live at West Campus you take the shuttle! The shuttle runs every hour on the weekend to grocery stores and the mall but if you need to get there during the week or someplace else, it's beneficial to have a car!

Most students at Georgia College walk almost everywhere, especially to class. A car is definitely not a necessity on campus; several freshmen do not bring their vehicles for their first year, since the shuttle is so convenient. The shuttle is available Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Georgia College shuttle has pick-up/drop-off locations at the Centennial Center, several locations on campus, the West Campus Village, and locations around Milledgeville on the weekends; the shuttle generally runs every 10 to 15 minutes. The fee for the shuttle is included in your student fees when you pay for tuition.
