Party Scene

{{ error }}
4 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday are the main party days with the nightlife centering on downtown Milledgeville.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: There are not a whole lot of parties, most people perfer to go downtown.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: When there is a known event, it can be fun. Sometimes overwhelming. When there is not a party going on, it is very quiet and boring. There is nothing much to do around Milledgeville.

3 College Student

Party Scene: I have not been to a party, but I have been downtown at night once. The music was nice! I did not drink, but a lot of people were. I have not used SNAP but I heard they are good transportation at night.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I am not a big partier but the few I have been to were really fun.

Students would say that the best part of Milledgeville’s nightlife is the lack of cover charges for the bars. It is also convenient that you do not have to be 21 to enter the bars; you only have to be 18, so you never miss out on any of the fun!

Thursday nights are the most popular nights for students to go out, and the bars downtown get pretty crowded. All of the bars downtown are within walking distance of the dorms, but if you do not feel like walking, the SNAP service would be happy to pick you up for free. House parties are also common, especially with fraternities. It is sometimes more fun to go to these parties instead of downtown because it is not as crowded and all your friends are in one place. The social scene downtown gives students an opportunity to have fun and be with friends.
