Campus Housing

Campus Housing: It's nice living on campus because you're in the center of everything. You are always up to date on the events and your classes, friends, and meals are just a stones throw away. It's not only convenient but a good social environment does wonders for your emotional and mental health.

Campus Housing: The building that I was in was one of the older ones. It was decent but the floors were horribly squeaky. I didn't get my first choice for campus housing last year or this year but I am happy with the ones that were picked for me. I really liked how close my dorm, Edwards, was to all of my classes but it was also very noisy outside all of the time especially because the tennis court and football field were very close to it.

The campus atmosphere is pretty small. You see the same people all the time. Even people you haven't met before smile at you. The social experience really depends on the group of people you hang out with. They try to havemany events on campus, but sometimes it can be pretty boring for some students who don't have as much schoolwork or studying to do. The social aspect is what you make it.

Campus Housing: From what I have experienced, campus house could be better. The conditions are not bad, but they are also not excellent. Cleanliness is one that I have noted several times. I have, however, thoroughly enjoyed the social atmosphere. Everyone on campus is warm and welcoming of everyone!

Campus Housing: Living on campus at GFU is a different experience depending on what kind of living area you have that year. Freshmen mostly live in dorms, after that you can live in apartments or houses, and later you can live off campus if you choose. My experience in the dorm was positive overall, and it really helped me connect with other students in my major in ways that I never would have if we hadn't lived together on the same floor. People can be frustrating sometimes, but it was a good experience and I'm glad it happened the way it did.

Campus Housing: The dorms are okay. Some areas are better to live in than others. But its nice to live with a group of people. Friends are just next door.
