4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Applying for financial aid was straight forward and easy I was able to receive my award information within 2 weeks.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For the first couple of semesters I didn't have any issues but this year I had submitted my fafsa in early march and they told me in July that extra work was needed causing me to lose the Pell Grant

Tuition & Financial Aid: I work full time in order to pay my tuition. I unfortunately could not afford the books so I had a friend lend me her old book for one class and I have just been going without in another class. Granted, going to community college is much more affordable than a university. It is a little exhausting though having to work forty hours a week and then go to classes, having no financial assistance and not be able to afford it myself. I go part time so that I can afford to pay the costs but that just means I will be in school longer. I would like to go full time and be able to afford my books. But since I have no aid I am not sure if that will happen. Financial aid loans are available, but at a rate so high it'll make anyone's head spin. Affordable college seems like it should exist here in the land of the free. Or maybe colleges could just start by not charging 200 dollars for a book that the instructor will use three times... Other than that, the staff in the office when I go to pay seem friendly and helpful and sympathetic as I had over the money I have saved up for months to be able to attend.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of the education I am receiving is worth the tuition. What I do not like about the financial aid process is my application always gets pick for the verication and I am always notified late.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition and financial aid is simply up to par
