4 College Junior

Student Body: Very diverse body of students. Everyone comes from different walks of life.

3 College Senior

Student Body: The students are really at the school only for class and work. No one really participates in school activities or goes to the school athletic events.

Student Body: The communication can be great depending on the nature of individuals or groups. The only way to fully garner the social magnetism you have to be willing to venture out and be receptive.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I like the diversity in the school. I think this is important. We should be able to deal with everyone on all levels, from our roommates to the President of the college. The most important thing to me is the respect factor. We all realize the campus, student population and staff are small in size. We have to keep in mind to respect each others space and boundaries. The students here at Garrett have strong convictions and dedication to their education. And therefore, that makes the difference in how we manage our time and interactions. We also know how to get together and have a good time.

Student Body: Growing up in Garrett County, MD you don't get to meet many people from a different background than you. It was to my surprise that Garrett College has people from diverse backgrounds. We have students and faculty from all over the globe. The teachers and advisors work with you so they can make your college experience easier and fun.
