I am a transfer student from Chico State University and this is my second semester at Fullerton. Every campus has its downfalls but I feel that Fullerton College's pros outweigh the cons. The campus is beautiful with a fantastic library/copy center/computer lab in the quad and all new facilities. Its very clean and polished for a CC with some really cool buildings. The Student Center is very helpful with tutors to help you with any subject (research papers are killer so having a second opinion always helps). The cost of in-state tuition is incredibly affordable. The Cadena Transfer Center is an incredibly helpful tool you can utilize to get you transferred to the school of your dreams. The cafeteria is a good size with plenty of food options. The people are all really great and the professors are all very knowledgeable on their subject matter. Also being a 2 minute walk from downtown Fullerton is amazing! The shops and restaurants are great for hanging out with friends after class or having a fun night with friends.

Now for the cons. The counseling and advising here is a little lacking. I have gone into a counseling appointment and came out of it more lost than I was going in. I found that sitting at my laptop for a day figuring everything out myself was quicker. The website is usually updated enough to help you with any questions you may have.

TL;DR This school overall is in a great location, has a nice looking campus, great academics, and a great community of students and professors that will absolutely help you achieve whatever goals you have.

After successfully submitting my application on FAFSA, Fullerton College took forever to get back to me on what wavers I was eligible for. It definitely was a a long process. Thankfully, I was eligible for the "Bog" Waver, which covered the fee for my classes, but I still had to pay for my books myself (which was extremely expensive.) The education I am receiving is definitely worth what I am paying. For anyone going through the financial aid process at Fullerton College, my advice is to be very self-sufficient! Check your email daily and follow up with your application status at Fullerton College for clarification as frequently as possible!

Fullerton College has an abundance of career prospects with degrees including, but not limited to, Business, Technology, Arts and Social Sciences. At first, I didn't think an Associates Degree from a community college held to much sway, yet since receiving my CIS degree I have been overwhelmed with solicitations from such schools as Azusa Pacific, Arizona State and Florida Polytechnic. Fullerton College has an excellent Transfer Center with many resources to help students with the transfer process. With a Transfer Degree from Fullerton College you are are guaranteed admission into the CSU system with a Junior standing and are given priority consideration when applying for the same Major. In fact, CSU Fullerton's School of Business (ranked 2nd best in California) offers reduced fees to students transferring from Fullerton College.

The Workforce Center at Fullerton College is top notch with plenty of resources and assistance with all your employment needs. Disney and AT&T are some of the employers that recruit from this college and many others that offer Internships in your field of choice.
