Academic Experience: Professor Involvement Is Scattershot – There are some great instructors at Full Sail that get involved with what you're doing, want to know how well you understand the material, give great and prompt feedback, and are generally happy to be in contact with you. There are others, however, that are not so great. Some do not respond to e-mail, or do not answer e-mail promptly(or at all), and occasionally assignments are not graded until it's too late to utilize feedback on future assignments for the class. I had one class (Rich Media Optimization), where none of my assignments were graded until a day before the class was over and my final assignment had already been turned in.

Academic Flexibility: Class Inflexibility Didn't Seem to Be a Problem – There wasn't really any flexibility in terms of class scheduling. My classes were all mapped out in a particular order so that I would have the required skills to succeed at each course. For the most part, if they had come in any other order I would be afraid of missing a skill set necessary to succeed in the current course. I didn't expect any transfer credits to apply, but my community college math and speech classes went transferred over which was nice.

Overall Experience: You Get Out of It What You Put Into It – I was really into my area of study and gulped down every tidbit of knowledge I could find, so I had a great experience through all of my classes. I felt they did an excellent job imparting not only basic knowledge, but industry-standard techniques that help drive the knowledge home. Some of my classmates struggled a lot it seemed, though most times as a result of not doing assignments, creating gaps in knowledge. To be effective in the online program you really have to put the time and effort required into the classwork.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Don't Wait for an Advisor to Call You – Though the financial aid did cover everything and there was little hassle procuring it, the billing department is often ahead of the financial aid department. Though it was promised that a financial aid rep would be in contact with me for each period, every semester I received a bill for tuition federal aid didn't cover and had to call financial aid to figure out what was going on.

Campus Resources: Media University – Full Sail is a media university. They had everything ready and available.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Great University – I really like Full Sail University. The online classes are great. I have had no problems with my of my classes. I really do enjoy Full Sail University.

Campus Resources: Might Be Missing One Thing. The campus doesn't really have great athletic centers. Being it is a media school I don't really think much of it.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: So Far Everything Has Been Possitive. I love the school and the professors seem very passionate and knowlegeable.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: They Are Very Flexible. Full Sail is a 2 year intensive bachelor program, perfect for someone who is passionate about what they offer. They are allowing me to take online classes before I go down in the fall.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Whole School – the has a great environment, great class director's, library.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Everything is top notch and state of the art (from the studio, to the film equiptment it is very good) they make sure that all students are responsible for anything that we use.

Overall Experience: Although I just started, so far my school seems pretty good. I'm currently taking online classes and I'm very surprise how much invovled my professors are willing to help me out they really do go that extra mile to make sure you understand what they are teaching you. What I also enjoy about my school is that they also provide you with the equipment you need for your program (it's all included in your tution). I'm proud to say that i'm a fsu student can't wait to transfer to the campus the spring of next year!

Campus Resources: Tons of Resources – The resources that are available to me are excellent. As I'm taking online classes, I've never been to the campus, but they do have a library, a movie studio, and such. There's tons of campus activities - at least one large activity a week. Movie nights, guest speakers, concerts - I keep up with everything via the school portal and blog, and there's always something new and exciting happening.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: A Perfect School – The curriculum is straightforward, and there are no extra 'frills' classes that dont make sense. Every class that I've taken and will take are action packed with work that teaches me how to actually use tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator, classes that teach me how to manage projects and manage my work. Full Sail is great at getting students ready for the REAL world.

Academic Flexibility: The Curriculum Makes Sense – I'm not sure about the flexibility of changing classes/curriculum, as I've never had to try to. The curriculum is fast paced, and the classes are assigned to me automatically in a way that makes sense. They're not going to assign me to advanced photoshop classes if I haven't already completed basic photoshop classes.

5 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The price of this college is higher than some, but its a lot cheaper than a lot of schools that would give me a less than satisfactory experience. Full sail, however is fast paced, decently priced for what it is. I love it!

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: Academic Experience – I would give Full Sail University has a great program for my degree. The work load is not overly heavy and easy to do.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: Grading Process – Sometimes the instructors do not post the assignment grades until the end of the classes, which run 4 weeks, so we never know if we need to change something, it is to late.

2 College Junior

Student Body: Entertainment Industry – I have noticed that my fellow students are younger and they just don't take the education seriously. They brush off assignments and then wonder why they are failing the class or academic probation. All they care about is getting their money.

I don't understand their thinking, they think they can just breeze through classes making it harder on me, because they critique me, because even though they are younger, they are far more talented and they are never shy about bragging.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Online Is a Challenge – The online experience is a challenge and it can get overwhelming at times. The main problem that I as a student could see is the availability of the tutors for specific classes.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Need Some More Incentive – The educational value of these classes are an absolute must, however the amount of effort that you have to go through to get scholarship is mind boggling. The Business office is somewhat flexible but only on certain things. They do not believe in second chances to help out those people that truly want to improve their life through education.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I am very impressed with FSO and all they offer a students. Some teachers care more than the others. I like their online classes, although, getting everything done in 4 weeks still blows my mind. You get a new class every four weeks. I think I would choose this school again for they do have a lot to offer in the field I am interested in. Their students have gone on to do great things and that impresses me.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Don't Be Blind – I was told one thing about the school fees and cost before starting, and once I got in, everything changed. They switch you around too many times with Financial Advisors. I don't like that. In the beginning they were very helpful in helping me with Financial Aid, but now that I am a sophomore and having a little more harder time in getting funding, it's like they've drop the ball on me. I know that their degree's offered offer tons of value to your life, but I think they could be a little more up front.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Professors Not Really Involved – They only give you one month to get to know the teacher, and that is a really short time, but the teachers do not really care about the students

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Classes Rule! After being in advanced core classes for thirteen years, I am finally in something I'm interested in. My classes are probably the best thing about this place, and I freaking love them.
