Overall Experience: So far I have learned so much in such a small time For example, a few months ago I never heard of the software called Maya until I was introduced to it while attending this school. Maya is a program used by game modelers, animators, and riggers to make 3D objects, creatures, and characters for many movies and games. When I first opened up the program I was totally lost in all the buttons and controls, but by the end of the month I grew comfortable with the program and was building simple assets, texturing, and now I am currently learning how to animate a character in a 3D space and having it interact with other objects in a set scene. Learning how to use this software would not have been possible for me if it was not for the instructors who took their time to help show me individually how to fix my errors and guide me with their experience and skill in their fields.

Academic Flexibility: I only got to skip English which was fine with me because I've been doing it for so long. I did have credits for Math and art history but I understand their reasoning for not letting the credit go through

Online Courses: the little courses I had were ok and manageable. Especially for those with part time jobs.

Online Courses: Being an on campus student I only have a select few of my courses online. Those that I do have online workout very well. I've also talked with many students that started out online and eventually moved on campus and they enjoyed their time online as well.

Career Services: The school itself always accepts former students as lab instructors. One of the great things about Full Sail is all the instructors still work in their chosen industry. In fact just today one of our lab instructors left to fly out to California to shoot a music video. The school knows this and encourages it.

Overall Experience: So when it comes to professors at Full Sail, you get what you're willing to put into it. The professors have done what we all want to do. They're there to help us fulfill our dreams. If they see someone in class slacking off, even if that person gets good grades, they may only get a "good grade". When they see someone WANT to learn, WANT to know more and see more, they're more then willing. I've had a teacher stay after class for hours just because I wanted to ask questions that were "outside" the field of the class. I have teachers that check up on me each month, just to make sure I'm happy and doing well. They always offer any help that I could need.

Overall Experience: Being that I'm still a student I can't say what it'll be like when I graduate. That being said, what I've seen for other students, what I've seen for myself, is a career development department that cares about it's students. If you want to work in the industry, they want you to. If you put forth the effort, they're going to do the same. We have Full Sail groups on Facebook for every major film city in the U.S. that we can use to reach out for support from alumni.

Academic Experience: I'm a film major at Full Sail. What it's like isn't the easiest thing to explain. We work hard. We have days that we're in class 16 hours strait. Sometimes we're grumpy, sometimes we're tired, but we love every minute of it. We get to write our own scripts, or we can network with some of the other degree programs such as creative write and borrow a script from them. From there we get create the sets, hire the actors, and shot the film. If that's not enough, Full Sail does live tapings for WWE. We have students that get to go to Wrestlemania and assist. Again my program isn't for the faint of heart, and I've seen people fail, but I've also seen a lot of people succeed.

Overall Experience: There's no question that I would choose my school again. Not only do I feel as though I'm learning skills that I will use in my industry but I've also met people that have come from my school and work in the field I want to. Before coming to Full Sail I never would have thought that I would get to meet the editor of The Walking Dead, the director of the Saw Films, or the underwater cinematographer that did the shots on Crimson Tide. Not only did they go to my school, not only did I get to meet them, I can honestly say I'm friends with them. I get to speak with them and ask them for advice or guidance. How many other schools offer that?

Academic Flexibility: Scheduling is a NIGHTMARE. It's IMPOSSIBLE to plan for anything because the schedules barely get to teachers and students before the first day of class. It makes everything rather stressful.

Online Courses: The online platform itself is effective and easy to navigate. The workload is manageable. The registration process wasn't so bad, but the scholarships and financial aid was a fake. They said they would help financially until I actually got here. Now, I'm struggling to stay in school because of money. Most professors are friendly and helpful. Peers can be entitled and snobby, I stick to those I know to be nice.
