Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is a little high, but its well worth it, Financial Aid is a big help though, because I know in the long run, Full Sail is making all my dreams come true!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had the luxury of participating in both public non-profit educational institutions and private for-profit educational institutions, and I can honestly say Full Sail University stands alone as one of the best. The academics are challenging, the course content is relevant, and the online user interface is best in class. Do your own research and don't listen to the haters out there. Full Sail University is nationally accredited, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and Florida Board of Education, and is consistently recognized for it's excellence in distance learning and education. Yes, it isn't for everyone and the load is very demanding...but it's well worth it! A+++ in my book!

Career Services: As I said everything is self explanatory, but if there are any confusion the staff is there to help.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since I have started I have received help from everywhere and everyone. I don't feel lost and if I begin to feel I am the staff is very god at getting me on the right track.

Academic Flexibility: I go to through the online portion of the school and often am talking to the different members of support staff at the school. I have had a few problems during the beginning trying to get ahold of the people I needed to, which was frustrating. With my financial aid and my computer breaking down, I feel like I was just tossed around a lot.
The teachers though are usually really cool to work with and try to be open to issues that come with being online students and personal issues. The workload is easy to manage since it is one class for each month and there is a ton of people to get help from whether it be teachers or other students.

Campus Resources: Never had any problems with anything. My school keeps their students updated with the latest software and programs. All our computers including lab computers are Apple products.

Academic Experience: I attend online and the professors are always available. All of them have instant messaging, phone lines and emails. Every time I have sent an email I receive a reply within 24 hours. The curriculum is really fun to me. I love how every subject and assignment somehow relates back to my major. Everything I learn is helpful to the career I want to have in the music industry.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office is extremely helpful. I am struggling to pay my tuition even with Financial Aid and they have been so helpful. I am currently on Financial Probation but because I have an outstanding GPA they are extending my deadline as I search for scholarships. They even gave me a run down of exactly how much my Financial Aid was and what I have remaining.

Academic Flexibility: I never thought online schooling would be for me. I signed up for this school trying to advance my life while working full time. In the end online schooling and Full Sail just weren't for me.

Online Courses: I enjoyed the online experience. The workload was fair and still gave me enough time to do other things which is how it differs from the classroom i don't have to sit through a whole lecture and i learn on my own time.

Campus Resources: As an online student, I use my own network. However, Full Sail does include a computer in the price of tuition, so that helps to ensure you will be able to connect when you need to.

Academic Flexibility: Academic flexibility for online classes is pretty good. There are certain specific due dates for assignments, but as long as you can get them done in time, you can work at your own pace.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Generally, tuition is fairly reasonable for the quality of education received.

That being said, Full Sail does tend to rush students into the school without paying much attention to funding the whole degree. I have tried to contact financial aid multiple times. The first time, I e-mailed the person listed as my financial advisor, and (months later) I have never heard back. In January, I received a bill and was informed that my new financial aid advisor had reportedly contacted me about needing a copy of something to process financial aid. I called this new advisor, and did not hear back after a week, so I called again. After another week, this advisor called back, explained some information, and agreed to provide a financial aid breakdown for the rest of the amount I owed. Not only was it days later that I received the breakdown, but it was for the amount already covered, so I still do not know for sure what I will owe by the end of this year.

Academic Experience: You learn a lot about Media Design, as well as the whole process of coming up with the best design for a chosen company. The first four months are very organized, but starting in the fifth month, most everything becomes set at your own pace, which does create some confusion.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have ADHD, PTSD and many other physiological issues that I am being treated for. My physical health is not any better. I spend and great deal of time rewriting and rereading my work.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are accelerated and last four weeks per topic. They pretty much run non-stop except Christmas. The last school I attended was a 2 year school with 8 x week accelerated classes and 16 week regular classes. I am just starting to get the timing of the classes at F.S.U.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: Online classes are flexible enough to allow both work and school to coexist. The fast paced schedule, however does require one to meet regular deadlines, which in turn keeps the student on track.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The online classes are modular, lasting 4 to 8 weeks each. There is a regular schedule with deadlines for discussion posts, reading assignments, projects and assessments. The curriculum is fast paced. If you are not good with time management, it is easy to get behind.

2 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel they do not go all the way to help you find financial aid, and you have to hound them to get them involved in explaining their process of funding. They control everything tightly when it comes to finances.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Each class is built similar so there is never any confusion on what to do. The content is great and very useful. The Instructors love to teach the subject and are active in the courses. As long as I managed my time properly, I had no problems and a great time learning my degree.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It has been fairly easy for me to adjust to the school. I will say I did have a couple of problems with my finacial aid. It is something I'm still dealing with at this time.

Academic Experience: I get all the aspects of entertainment Business all the classes have to do with what you major is

Academic Experience: There is great communication with the school. If you cant get in touch with who you want immeditly person will get back to you as soon as possible. Will answer any question or concerns you have

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial advisors are very helpful with discussing the tuition and financial aid process with students.

Campus Resources: I am taking online classes with Full Sail University, and I have not had a lot of technical problems with the website.
