Academic Experience: In my specific major the school focuses on all aspects of music production from technology to theory, arranging and computer science. There are general elect courses and after those there are music production specific classes. Each course is a different angle of music production, kind of like puzzle pieces in which we complete and can move on to the next. There is a lot of work since each class is only a month long. You have to catch on quick and really be good with time management.

Academic Experience: I am pretty satisfied with my college. The school provides all the materials for an online student and makes going to college online very convenient. The classes are at a good time in the day and they record each class in case we miss one so we can watch it later. Resources for success are widely available.

Academic Experience: I am currently in the film program, and it is everything I wanted/expected and more. If you really have a passion for film this course is amazing. The instructors all know what they are talking about, if you are friendly and they like you they'll even help you find work in your field! There is no such thing as a boring class, there are no stereotypical college professors at Full Sail, it's like going to class and being taught by one of your friends.

Student Body: I'm an online student and haven't had any personal interaction with the student body. All interaction is via email, discussion forums, etc.

College Junior

Career Services: I haven't had any thing from Career Services as I'm just starting school. I'm sure I'll have the reps begin to contact me the closer I get to graduation.

Academic Flexibility: As an online student my overall experience has been great. There is ample time to complete assignments. If you have any difficulties teachers, advisors, student mentors and FSO Support are easily accessible. Technical issues arise here and there, but they are quickly accessed by FSO Support.

Tuition & Financial Aid: While the tuition is high, the knowledge and equipment we receive is worth it. I encountered zero problems with the financial aid office nor with receiving financial aid.

Student Body: Of what I have seen to this point (in my senior year) the student body here is wonderful. They are helpful and informative, have any questions do not be afraid to ask they will answer them. Even from other degree programs they will help if they know the answer or where to point you to. Its a great group of people in a solid school. I am an online student and have seen help go both ways.

Academic Experience: The teachers are really helpful. Some were students themselves actually. The classwork load is pretty straight forward just be quick to finish it. The nice thing about the school is that you never have to pick classes on any program every programs already has ;all the classes laid out that you need to graduate.

Tuition & Financial Aid: You get the value of education you pay for. It can be expensive depending on your program so do scholarships if possible. The school is odd in my opinion on the fact they want you to do financial aid every eight months from the time you start though.

4 College Senior

Student Body: The students at my school range from people that are recent high school graduates to people that probably haven't been in high school about 20 to 30 years. They all seem very nice and wiling to help someone out if they need it whether its on directions to a room for tips on an assignment.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The school has access to absolutely everything except sports and athletic aspects but thats because this school isnt for any of that anyway. Theyre for technology if you want sports youll have to pick another school

Career Services: Full Sail makes sure to help you get your foot into at least one career door. With many job opportunities frequently stopping by the school to try and get the best and fresh people for hire. Full Sail always makes sure that you're up to date on all your technology. So in five or so years when what youve learned is obsolete you can retake any class you've already taken for free, to get updated on the newest technology and process.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Fast paced school that teaches you your skill at the same time as giving you a schedule that you would have once you have entered the career. Because not every job will bend to your personal schedule so why should your schooling schedule. Its practice and good practice to not just learn to walk but to run when you get out into your career of choice.

Academic Experience: A lot of people come to Full Sail for the Recording Arts program. Lots of them end up being artist when really they should take up the Music Production program. That floods a lot of the students out and causes it to be over-saturated a little to get a job after school. But throughout the program. You are bound to find a group of talent like your own and blend with them. It happens to everyone that attends there. You'll always have someone that will want to work with you. It's everything I expected and more going into it.

Academic Experience: Full Sail offers knowledge from a vast majority of people who have been in the business. They are the top ranked school on pushing people to get into the entertainment industry and it shows by how many of our graduates leave and get jobs so quickly. Its just as their quote says. "We'll Take your dreams as serious as you take them" Which means as long as you're there for a purpose. They'll support you all the way. Curriculum covers everything you need to know about what you study and The school workflow is pretty straight forward.

Academic Experience: I am in the Entertainment Business masters program. I like how the program is set up and the direction of the courses. They are in an order that makes sense and fit together like puzzle pieces. I also am appreciative of the fact that our instructors are very knowledgeable about their fields. They have real world experience and most are very good at teaching and obviously enjoy what they do. All around good vibe on campus.

Online Courses: I liked my online course. Even though I prefer campus classes, the online one was much more interactive than I thought it would be. We did videos and wrote message to each other. Being able to see each other's faces was nice. It was also an easy platform to work on.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I find mostly everything that I need is readily available. I just wish we had a printing center to print flyers/posters/promotional material- even if we had to pay for it. There are some great activities though like open mics and other fun event opportunities.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: All curriculum is kept current with technologies. I can't complain about what is taught. The curriculum teaches you exactly what employers are looking for. Do a job search in your industry and look at the job required qualifications and preferred qualifications, you'll see you learn exactly what you need to know.

4 College Junior

Student Body: This school does receive a lot of bad press, Don't Believe it. There are students that go to this school that treat it like a regular university, and can't keep up with the course work, so they drop out and then bad mouth the school. You get what you put in, it's as simple as that. If you give 110%, you'll reap the rewards. The instructors knowledgeable, and you are always learning the most current technologies. Yea the price is steep, but consider what you get for it, all your class, textbooks, software, macbook pro, is all included into the price. As for the crap about credits and what...look it up, Full Sail is accredited, but they aren't Nationally accredited, they are Regionally accredited. Most colleges don't accept Regional credits, so that's why Full Sails credits don't always transfer. The point is, they are accredited. Full Sail is considered the Harved of Film & Design. They are largely recognized in the entertainment and design industry.

Online Courses: The online classes are great! I can work at my own pace. I have disabilities and if I'm having a bad day, I can schedule my work as necessary. The only things carved in stone are the GoTo Meetings and the assigned projects that have to be uploaded by a specific time. The Creative Writing program is designed to give students experience in all aspects of creative writing: screenplays, game creation & writing, genre writing, as well as short stories, flash fiction and novels. The feedback is outstanding.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: Because I'm an online student, I can only rate the facilities of which I have access, such as the library. This resource is absolutely astounding. In their database there is a wealth of resource material from actual books from their lending library to ebooks and periodicals that can be downloaded for study. Unlike some libraries, Full Sail's is up to date, containing recent published works.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: The network and support system are excellent. The network is rarely down and the support department can be contacted at any time. The announce any maintenance well ahead of time so that the down time does not interfere with students' projects.

5 College Junior

Student Body: I'm enrolled in the online plan, so it is difficult to rate the entire student body, however, I can discuss the experiences I've enjoyed interacting with my classmates through the discussion questions and assignments and through the interactive sessions scheduled for each class. Overall, I would rate the interaction high. I think a lot of this is because the classes are online. Like many of the social interactive websites (such as Facebook and MySpace), the faceless communication appears to be easier, especially for those students who would not interact because of shyness, or social ineptness.
