Overall Experience: I rate this school as OK because I am 43 and have a nice paying job now. I would be qualified to earn less than what I am now, in my current IT career field. If I am answering this question from the viewpoint of one who expects this degree to automatically equate to a high paying job upon graduation, that is not going to be the case. Additionally, The entertainment and media fields are highly competitive. I chose this school because I could attend online, and it has significant credentials for music production, recording, and engineering. I can earn a bachelors degree and move along to get my masters. Since it is not regionally accredited (it is nationally accredited), you must also show some creativity and flexibility when planning next steps, but there are good institutions out there that will accept its bachelors.

Academic Experience: The school does not have strict admissions standards and you will encounter other students who do not have a strong grasp on grammar. The core classes you will take are informative but not too challenging, but are not the focus of your experience. The focus of the school is to get you ready to enter the entertainment and media field and hit the ground running. They are excellent at that. The classes are one month in length and are broken up into four week segments. You cannot work ahead outside of the current week. I highly recommend accessing your class as soon as it is available so that you are able to assess how much effort needs to be placed on specific parts of the week.

College Math is nothing to be afraid of. The way in which it is taught makes it easier to understand and build from lesson to lesson. I never earned a grade higher than a C in previous math classes and I earned a 96 here. I also tried harder this time.

Overall Experience: You will succeed if you put in an honest effort. Deadlines are strictly adhered to, as they are in the real business and entertainment worlds, so begin your week as soon as it opens. The faculty are experts and give freely of their time and talent. All one has to do is reach out and ask. I am pursuing a Bachelors in Music Production. It helps to being some musical experience with you and will shorten the amount of time you must put in to succeed. The gear that you receive is top of the line.

Overall Experience: At Full Sail, if you show you have any interest in working hard and show you are dedicated to what you do to one of your professors, he/she will get you jobs locally. If you put a lot in here, you get a lot out. Very many students with recording arts majors and film have come out the other side very successful because of what they have learned at Full sail.

Online Courses: The online courses are wonderful. Of course you have deadlines but you get to work at your own pace. You have to be self motivated to take these courses because it's very easy to get distracted. The professors are there for you and so is tech support if you need it.

Overall Experience: Having taken online courses, the professors take the time out if you need it because they care. I've spoken with professors multiple times from their home phones. One professor, him and I had so much in common that we spoke on the phone for 3 hours. Point is, is that they care and want to help you do your best.
