Most students on campus have their own laptops that they either keep in their dorm room or take with them to class. Students still use the computers in Pullen Hall, Lane Center, and the library. If students don't feel like carting around a laptop, then they will go to one of the open computer labs and do their homework there. The computer labs are not usually crowded, especially if you go during the day when most students are in class. FSU has Macs and Windows computers, so students can choose whichever they prefer. They may also print from these computers at no charge to them. The only thing that is charged is making copies, and that only costs 10 cents.

The wireless network and Ethernet cable Internet are usually reliable. The only issue is when a giant group of people are trying to get to the same website, the site will become unresponsive. Beware, however, because the main Frostburg site enjoys crashing from time to time, which creates a problem for the students who need to check email, PAWS, or Blackboard. For the most part, though, there is rarely a problem trying to connect to the Internet on campus.
