3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't really know since I haven't lived off campus.

4 College Freshman

Party Scene: Awesome, clean and catholic! :)

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are not enough option to help.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: There are plenty of options.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I love the atmosphere and community of living on campus!

1 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Its hard to find a safe place to live with students. Don't live in the neighborhood at the base of the hill. Especially not on Oregon, Wilkins, Ridge, etc. Live in the neighborhood on the other side of Brady

2 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Franks in the country has the best breakfast and best prices- is a great bar joint in the evening

2 College Junior

Administration: There are many overly-strict rules about men/women relationships and hanging out in the dorms. Dating is frowned upon.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: Join a household. That will get you into social activities/parties

2 College Junior

Scholarships: There aren't very many options for financial aid since its a private school. Any scholarships or grants basically have to be found by you.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: Sandellas has the best food! The pub is good, but there are very few options. The caf has great salads, pizza, and sandwiches

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Its very expensive to live on campus.

Trinity and Marian Halls were just renovated: go for those!

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The town is not doing well financially, but some off-campus housing is still quite good. Prices vary, quality varies – houses for sale, for rent, and apartments – a new complex was just built specifically with the students in mind and it's excellent but pricier. The school is a pain in the butt about allowing you to live off-campus though. You have to APPLY to live off-campus and your application can be denied.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There's a family-run Italian restaurant nearby that's very nice, a huge burger restaurant called Burgatory (a little further away), and frozen yogurt places and fast food….

3 College Junior

Administration: A lot of what the administration does contributes to a good daily experience. However, some rules are inconvenient. Exam hours are helpful during finals but hard to get through because it's so quiet. Visitation rules are definitely the most strictly enforced, which is partially due to the easily-scandalized student body. Usually though, if you have an academic problem, someone will help you if you just stick to your guns.

3 College Junior

Party Scene: I'm not much of a party animal, but from what I hear, off-campus parties can be a blast. Certain rules on campus prevent crazy on-campus parties, which is probably just as well for campus life. Crazy people can be crazy elsewhere. A lot of households (a.k.a. fraternities and sororities) own houses and have parties there.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I guess I got what I can get. Most scholarships offered are for the Priestly Discernment Program, students of Catechetics or Theology, nursing students, or maybe education majors. I have heard that if you talk to the person assigned to your financial aid and really press them, they might find more money for you somehow, but I have no experience with that.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: It could be a lot worse, and it gets better every year. Unfortunately, what is included in meal exchanges are limited, which is annoying. Furthermore, it's much more expensive than I would otherwise spend on food for myself.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Campus housing has a distinct community feel and the rules are fairly pleasant and well enforced. Residence Life Staff are pretty good at helping you if you have a problem. Some spaces are somewhat cramped and they are a little more expensive than local housing off-campus, but off-campus housing does not have the same community feel.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I dont know anything about the greek life at franciscan.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I dont live off-campus but I heard there are lots of crimes and robberies. I prefer to live on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are not many choices. It is most fast food and a few dining restaurants as in apple bees, Texas roadhouse, and chinese buffets.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Franciscan is pretty strict. You can get kicked off the sports teams if you are caught drinking underage. Girls and guys cant visit each others dorms except for 4 hour periods each day on the weekends. After 11 pm, any loud noises can cost you a fine. There is literally fines for everything: for violating quiet hours, from having a girl in your dorm with the door closed, to not attending housing meetings.

2 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Parties on campus usually are not the best. I have not been to an off-campus party yet.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I was able to receive free tuition because my father works at the school! Therefore, I only have to pay room and boarding.
