3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: It's okay, but there are a few creepers on campus, meaning sometimes I don't feel safe at night walking alone.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The courses are great for your majors and the professors will take time out of their day to help you if you need help.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I do know that there's people on campus who will help you with career opportunities.

Campus Housing: There are RULES that are SUPPOSED to be enforced while living on campus, but no one seems to uphold those rules. Apparently, midnight is the cut-off time for visiting hours in the dorms, but no one cares, they will keep going in and out of the dorms. People RUN through the halls, and when they do that, they make everything shake. The walls are too thin. You can hear people talking in the other room, especially at night time, when everyone's asleep or studying. The one thing I dislike about FMU is that in the dorms, you have WARDROBES, not closets! Sometimes the drawers don't close all the way, and it's annoying.

Athletics: I'm not a fan of sports, but it just seems like there's only a few sports here, mainly basketball, soccer, tennis, and baseball/softball. What about football? I know it's a small school, but I know there's a lot of people here on campus who are built to play football, and I'm sure a lot more people would attend football games. Having a football team would also give the cheerleaders a chance to actually cheer outside, instead of inside during basketball games.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love that the class sizes are moderately small, and you most likely get to know everybody in your classes, and it's easy for the professors to get to know you on a first-name basis.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The cops are generally laid back when it comes to issues that you can be laid back on, but they can be serious when in need.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The professors here are fair. If you don't care about your grade, they aren't going to care either. If you want to pull your grade up, they will be more than willing to help you out.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: We have exemplary programs such as nursing and education.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms are alright if you and your roommate get along. Sometimes people leave trash in the halls, but other than that it's alright.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm apart of greek life, and it's alright. We do well for our philanthropies, but we aren't looked at as anything special. It would be better if the college were bigger.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: There's not that much involvement in sports. Some people will go to the games, but not that many people are interested.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This is a mostly commuter school so the people that come from other areas tend to get bored. Francis Marion is a great school if you're looking for somewhere that isn't as large as, let's say, USC or Clemson.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Campus police are always on watch, looking for any suspicious activities.

Overall Experience: Everything seems to run smoothly, all you have to do is ask questions, study and do the work. The professors do anything in their power to help students reach their goal.

Campus Housing: Sometimes it can get a little noise depending on your suite mates next door, depending on your dorm.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: From what I've observed, the student greek life organizations seem to work together as students, helping eachother without problem, becoming true brothers/sisters.

Athletics: Although I don't attend sports event, I've heard of great team performance and fan support.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: FMU is an excellet university. The teachers here are extremely helpful, understanding and easy to get along with. If I had to choose FMU over again, I would. I've really enjoyed my experiences.
