I love my college! The instructors are very understanding and are here to help and help you understand the material you are struggling with. They offer free tutoring sessions Monday-Friday 8 am-8 pm in the TLC which is absolutely so helpful! Personally I've had so much help from them, they help me pass my classes! Did I mention it's free? Definitely flexible with hours during the week. We have a student center where you can play games and get to know the other students attending there! I made quite a few friends! Everyone here is so respectful and only want to help you with your goals.

The rates for tuition are continuing to increase and yet the community is paying higher taxes so the school can expand to a larger building.

This is a non-profit school and they make a ton of money, so I do not understand why the taxpayers, who pay the tuition, also have to pay for them to expand the school.

The local paper just ran an expose on the salaries of the teachers and for teaching a course each semester, or less, some earn over $100K! At a local community college!

I requested my transcript be sent to another college. I was told FVTC hired a 3rd party to process them. I have to fill out a form online, pay a fee, and it will be sent to one school specified. If I want multiple sent I have to request each and pay for each. I asked, if I filled in a request form from the college I am applying to , to request my transcript from FVTC, why then do I need to order the transcript myself and pay for it myself?
The response was, "That's how we do it."

I requested my unofficial transcript, so I could get my GPA. They sent me an email with the unofficial transcript and NO GPA!

Not helpful, not friendly, almost rude.

Real Education for Real Life – Business Management program with emphasis in Banking at Fox Valley Technical College can compete with education from four-year college. Main reason for this, is practical experience of almost all instructors who works for this college. Class curricula is based on practical assignments which applicable to real life experience in office or home use. I personally used knowledge obtained from Investments in Stocks and Bonds class while making my investment decisions, and it helped! My portfolio is making money!
