For a while I thought this school was a good choice and the right thing for me. Then I learned that most of what they tell you when you come tour is a lie. This school cost me $25,000. There are probably 3 teachers, out of the ones I've had for classes, in the whole school that know what they are talking about. A lot of people here don't care about their education and are there because its free for them. None of my previous credits from community college transferred, nor do these credits I have worked my butt of for transfer to other schools. I would never recommend this school to anyone. You're better off going to a real school.

I love all of my teachers. They are very hands on and are always there to help you. It sometimes becomes hard during your first semester trying to adjust to the new enviornment and people, but they offer everything possible. From one on one teaching to counseling and budgeting classes. It really takes off some of the pressure when you can go talk to notonly your teacher but anyone on campus. There is not too much homework on an average week; just enough to keep you busy and on your toes.

There are alot of different people at Fortis. Some ranging from 18-50. Everyone is here to learn and does their best to help and be professional. There are various groups and cliques but none of the immature and self- depriving characteristics; more like a comfort group. There is an acceptance level like I have never known. It seems everyone has their problems or flaws, but they are not ridiculed or loooked down upon because of them.
