Fort Lewis College is a leading undergraduate research institution in Colorado, featuring an iconic mesa-top location, renowned faculty, and hands-on coursework. FLC works hard to make sure cost is not a barrier in higher education. We are proud to offer Colorado's lowest tuition and fees and Colorado's second most affordable out-of-state tuition and fees.

Surrounded by mountain, desert, and river ecosystems, students have unrivaled access to 2.3 million acres of public lands, 13 national parks and monuments, and world-class ski resorts and bike parks. More than 300 miles of trails within 30 minutes of downtown Durango beckon us all.

There are more than 70 student-led organizations on campus, NCAA Division II sports, and a Cycling Team with 24 National championships. With over 55 majors to choose from, students become scientists, outdoor professionals, and entrepreneurs.
