Fort Lewis College is located in a very touristy and busy Durango. This takes back the entire experience of attending college here for me. The dorms seem pretty decent, but definitely overpriced. I'm majoring in Biology and I feel like classes here are fairly easy compared to the University I just transferred from. I also feel like the staff at Fort Lewis has no clue what they're doing. Things get lost all the time, they take forever to get back with you, hidden fees always come up. The Native American tuition waiver is great! The SOLE reason I am attending Fort Lewis actually. If you're into smoking weed, then this place is 100% for you. Haven't found a huge group of people who like drinking and don't want to get belligerent every time. Overall, Fort Lewis is a decent college with opportunities for everyone somewhere, but it's definitely not a top tier college by any means. If you're debating this college with another one you think you'll like, give the other one a try.

I really like the campus and how it's not of a huge college. There is space for you to explore. The people here are very nice; the students and the villagers.

My experience here at the college is great so far. The classes are not so big which gives me the opportunity to talk and interact with my professors. The diversity here shocked me. The people here are really nice and outgoing. The town is great. The life on campus has been great.
