4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I never felt threatened by a student or faculties. The on campus police are helpful, very little if any violent crime takes place on campus, and security is very tight.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Seems par for the course in terms of on campus living. Pricey, a bit cramped, but very close to classes and the staff are helpful.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Haven't done a lot with the athletics department. The few times I did go to the student wellness center I was very impressed by the quality. It is a school with a wide variety of exercise options.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and do their best for every student they can.

There are some hiccups administratively, and some professors are more open and communicable than others.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The mountains make it cool.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: If you want to do drugs, you can. If not you can find many people who are the same way.

Campus Housing: Every part of housing is great. If students can function are their own, the dorms are fine

Greek Life: We don't have it and I love it. Too much partying and bad influence come from it

Athletics: The sports you're thinking of are no the sports we focus on at Fort Lewis. When thinking of sports you usually think of the traditional basketball, volleyball, football, etc. But at the Fort our main focus is on things like: backpacking, kayaking, skiing, slack lining, and many more outdoor activities.

Overall Experience: I have never seen so many unique individuals. Before moving to Durango I was a typical teenage girl who liked boys and obsessed over looking good and being popular. After coming to this school I have come to realize that life is better when you have more experience. Since high school I have gotten a job at a rafting company and a train station. I love living in a tourist town and being a part of a family's good experience.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Courses are great, challenging but not unpassable. And professors are great, they feel the panic with you when it's time for finals. It really bonds you.

Health & Safety: I rated it "generally safe and comfortable walking alone across campus" simply because I'm a girl and have been taught that it's the social "norm" to grip your keys between your fingers and walk fast. Nothing bad have ever happened and I've never felt threatened it's just that we're paranoid. The weirdest thing that has happened what some guy in a squirrel costume asked me if I could hold his nuts. He was carrying a box of peanuts.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's a small college and it's great to have your degree. It's just some workplaces like the university tact to your diploma. Internships I have actually found to be easy to find in my field.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: It's ok. The buildings are outdated but the school's working on updating them. I lived on the outskirts of the campus which suited me fine. Close to the trees and outdoor trails but not too far from campus. (Plus I live with awesome building mates.)

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: It's a fairly small school but who doesn't want to take advantage of attending games for free! Some students are very passionate about showing their support the team and some "meh" (as to be expected). As for the athletic facilities, pretty damn "spiffy".

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I am pretty damn fond of my college! I've had very passionate professors and when you have a person who loves what they teach it's easy to get into it. Also, not only have all my professors made sure we passed but made sure that I've understood them.

Campus Housing: Worst in the nation I bet. SO outdated. Except for Animas Hall.

Greek Life: Absolutely no greek life at FLC...just hippies

2 College Senior

Athletics: Although the cycling team is awesome, all the other FLC teams are subpar.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: A great school for outdoor adventurers. There is so much to do here in Durango, CO!

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Overall Experience is satisfactory!! Like every other college it has it's ups and downs.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: The housing on campus isn't bad! Some places are actually nice!

3 College Senior

Greek Life: There's isn't a big Greek life on Campus. Honestly I really don't think we do have a Greek life on campus!
