Academics: Thus far I love the major I am in, which is Physical Therapy. They have a Physical Therapy club, which I belong to. It gives you all the information you need to know about the field you are in. There are a lot of internships on Campus and off, whichever suit your needs.

Athletics: All of the sports at Florida State are great to be in. It gets you involved in the school and you meet a lot of people. This is another involvement on Campus that gets you into all of the fun, and excitement. Facilities on Campus are some of the best fields, and arenas in the area.

Greek Life: Greek life gets you involved, not only in the University, also with the Charity's they give back to. You get to meet A LOT of wonderful people at the University, and it is a must to experience. The school looks at the Greek life as a part of the community/University. Housing that is available is in a big house you share with many people. If it is for you, that is the place to be.

Majors: I love Florida State University. I am scheduled to graduate in August, and If was asked to do it all over again? Yes, in a heartbeat!! I loved my Professors, and the college atmosphere, the library, and all the amenities they have for studying for those hard exams. I will be going on to graduate school and am pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. I know that I should not have a hard time in the profession I am seeking, there are a lot of jobs in the Health Industry, so I am not concerned at all.

Majors: The process of getting into my program was quit easy. I did not face any difficulties, or challenges. The most important criteria for admission, is your grades, your involvement in the community, and you ACT/SAT scores. Florida State does not have an abnormal application, I found it straightforward, and very user friendly. Tips for admission I would recommend is get those ACT/SAT scores as high as you can, and keep your high school grades up. It is competitive and you have to be on the top of your game to get into Florida State.

Weather: The weather affects my experience by not being able to ride my scooter on cold icy days, which don't happen that often. I do like the changes of the seasons. Overall, I would have to say the weather does not affect me that much.

Majors: The College of Social Work offers a wide variety of internships choices. These internship opportunities can be found in the numerous avenues of social work. internships can be found in state government, community service agencies, non profit organizations, medical, mental health facilities, judicial/Law enforcement, schools, private businesses, etc. There are few paid internships. Internships agreements offer flexibility to students. There is available to do out of town and out of state internships.

Majors: I did my undergrad internship with the State Attorney's Office. My supervisor was very knowledgeable in her field. She shared her information and experience regularly. My internship was very interactive. I was supervised closely, with regularly scheduled meeting and an open door policy between me and staff. I did not answer phones, push papers, or file. I held a minimal caseload and was required to attend meeting, trainings, and court appointments, just like staff. It was a positive experience and I learned alot.

Off-Campus Dining: There are lots of varying types of restaurants around town. The price of food is average, probable the same as anywhere else. Coupons and discounts are offered to students. They are convenience to campus.

Drug Safety: FSU police are abundant and let students know of the lack of tolerance. Those who break the laws are arrested. The Police offer classes with regard to alcohol and drug safety. No one has ever pressured me to partake in alcoholic or drug activities nor do they exclude me because I am not interested in the use. Clubs and organizations (religious) offer alternative to event, activities, parties that do not include any use of alcohol or drugs.

Campus Housing: Some of the dorms are older and FSU is a very old school, but they have been working to rebuild and remodel with up-to-date facility requirements.

4 College Junior

Administration: Facility is strict when it comes to class attendance, students may not miss more than two classes. Excused absences must fall within certain limits. I do not live on campus

Academics: FSU offers a vast array of academic majors and adds new ones regularly. The school works hard and does a great job of finding knowledgeable professors. Most of which are highly recognized in their specified fields. The curriculum for fields of study are very comprehensible offering important information with student overload. The registration process is easy and if and when complications occur the registration office is very helpful is fixing the problem. They offer assistance and answer questions timely and professional. Studying options for campus is vast. You can find students in the gardens and green ways of campus, study hall, student halls, libraries, computer labs, etc.

Diversity: FSU offers lots of minority, religious, and ethnic clubs and organizations. The population is excepting of campus diversity. Sexual orientation is not an issue either.

Local Area: It's located in a small city, but there are lots of things to do. Most of the activities will require some travel and most are outside.

Health & Safety: Safety is thoroughly provided to FSU staff and students. Because, of the numerous wooded areas walking at night can be scary. Therefore, escorts are available if and when requested. Police are highly visible, and work in unison with the local police and sheriff's department. They offer safety classes and send notices and update to staff and students regularly. Officers and FSU victim advocates respond to calls quickly and professionally. FSU has lots of emergency phones and they work properly.

Overall Experience: The school spirit and positive personalities make being at FSU a positive experience. The environment, and location of the school is comfortable and couldn't get better. Everyone has a positive attitude and school pride runs deep. Good or bad our athletic events are well attended and supported by staff, students and the community. Facility is knowledgeable and willing to offer assistance and share experience. Going to FSU is like home.

Party Scene: Personally, I am not the party type, however, there is a good reason we rank as one of the best party schools. Southern hospitality and school spirit is what produces a spectacular nightlife.

4 College Junior

Weather: In the summer, between the humidity and the hills on campus can be a struggle. Temperature is not bad, its the humidity that is challenging. Winters are typically warm and pleasant.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: If students do drugs on campus, its not something i have noticed. They tend to keep it to themselves.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I love my major so far. I love chemistry so my major really fits my personality.

4 College Freshman

Majors: There are so many majors here that is hard to find one that you wouldn't fit into.

3 College Freshman

Majors: For an Engineering major it is difficult to achieve major status because of the difficulty of the pre-reqs.
