Campus Housing: A lot of the dorms are older but it has not been a problem for me

4 College Junior

Technology: There are numerous computer labs, found in convenient locations across campus. Classes are equip with up-to-date and reliable technology. The network very reliable and speed is fast, and IT is quick to assist. Wireless access is free. One does not need to bring a computer to each class. Facility offers information electronically to students with regards to class requirements, assignments, tests, study guides, etc. Occasionally there are browser issues, but faculty is aware and take in to consideration where there are technical difficulties.

4 College Junior

Transportation: Most housing facilities offer bus transportation to residence, which is typically configured into the rent.. Public/School transportation is also offered on campus it's free, off campus required a moderate fee.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: Its really difficult to find scholarships to fit me in particular. There are limited scholarships for grad school and single mothers who are in grad school. Loans are available but the payment does not match the income made after graduation.

Off-Campus Housing: There is a wide variety of housing facilities. Most are found close to campus. The majority of the complexes are nice and offer a great selection of leasing agreements, utility packages, and social amenities. Most of the facilities offer there own buses to transport residence. Others are located within close proximity of public transportation stops. The cons of housing is the price, everything is very expensive.

Party Scene: I'm not a partier, but I still love a good time now and then, and on the off chance I'm looking for one, I know I'll find one.

Transportation: I've never had an issue getting where I needed to go unless it was caused by my own error.

4 College Senior

Administration: If you're not causing trouble, you'll be left alone. If you're being obnoxious, you'll get a slap on the wrists. Illegal activities could get you a walking arrest.

You would be hard-pressed to find a graduate of Florida State University who doesn’t have fond memories of the years they spent on campus. Current students will also agree that they are happy with their decision to attend school here. There is something for everyone, from athletics to academia, and you would have a hard time finding a more comfortable setting than Tallahassee. It has so much to offer, from exciting nightlife to beautiful weather.

Although it bears the reputation of a party school, FSU also has a growing reputation for turning out some of the best and brightest graduates in the entire nation. The school is now turning its focus on research, which should appeal to those interested in science and mathematics. But never fear, FSU also emphasizes the arts through their award-winning film and theater departments. From math and science, to the arts, FSU offers a vast array of eclectic degrees, which will be nothing but helpful later in your life. Choosing which college to attend is not an easy decision, but if you’re looking for the perfect combination of a good education and a good time, you can’t do much better than Florida State University.
