Greek Life: Greek life is pretty notorious nationally at Florida State. Some of the biggest chapters in America are found at Florida State. It's extremely elite and difficult to get into, but it is a fantastic experience. The only downfall of Greek life is the expenses. Florida State has some of the highest dues compared to other universities.

Athletics: School spirit revolves around football. During football season, students of every major come together and rally as Seminoles for our team. Student involvement with athletic is huge, and it's a blast. Everyone should get involved.

Overall Experience: Florida State University embodies the college experience. On one side, you can let your hair down, explore who you are, and be a little wild. On the other side, you are surrounding by professionals and experts of the field who are excited to help you find your passions and your niche. Together, you emerge each semester more founded as a person and in love with the golden college years.

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus during the day but I wouldn't dare walk around at night alone, especially near Jefferson Street. There is a "Blue light trail" which allows you to easily press a button and summon the police if you feel threatened. It is a great way to increase feelings of safety. While I know there is no environment where you are 100% safe but FSU gets close. Our campus PD is VERY effective and responds with urgency when needed.

Overall Experience: Though some of my professors were a little rough around the edges, most of them were very helpful and understandable. There is a language barrier between some foreign teachers and English-speaking students like myself, unfortunately, which led to my first D. For the most part, my professors have been great though.

Athletics: Go Noles! I enjoy the Leach Center for working out. I know a few people who play intramural sports, but the varsity team really does take the cake(and attention). I wouldn't have it any other way.

Overall Experience: Florida State is a great school. The academics are great; the football team is great; the students are great. I really like that FSU offers Freshman Interest Groups and Success Coaches. There are so many great programs for students to take advantage of here. Everyone's looking out for us and working to contribute to our success.

Health & Safety: There are many precautions one can take to prevent putting themselves in a potential harmful situation. There are blue lights everywhere on campus and the FSU police can always be reached at any time. I feel very secure on campus.

Overall Experience: I have not been at FSU long, however, while choosing my classes there is a wide variety to choose from. The courses I took were challenging, but not too challenging where they were impossible to handle. The professors were knowledgable on the subject matter and were there to help when needed. I very much enjoyed my classes.

Campus Housing: Personally, I have one of the best dorms on campus. It is a beautiful building inside and out and is close to all of my classes. I have greatly enjoyed living in a dorm because of my building.

Greek Life: Florida State has a huge Greek life community. Greeks are not only involved in social events, but also philanthropy and giving back to the community. I cannot speak for everyone regarding their opinion on Greeks, but as a non-Greek I know that I look up to the Greeks and definitely want to be apart of their community.

Overall Experience: Not many conduct problems, most individuals show that they are prepared for school each day and are eager to start working. Florida State University has been on my list of go-to schools for a long time because of their awesome academics and their strong campus life.

Overall Experience: Florida state is amazing and I'm so glad that i'm going here! Even though Florida State wasn't really a school I thought about back when I was applying for colleges, it's honestly the best choice I could've made. Everyone is so friendly, the school pride is intoxicating, the classes are actually interesting, the teachers are extremely impressive, and the campus is beautiful. I wouldn't choose any other school over Florida State and I'm glad I had the opportunity to join the Seminole family!

Overall Experience: I love the school itself it is so pretty here. I also really enjoy all of my classes and teachers at FSU. They are all super nice and really want you to learn. The main thing that makes it an "okay" experience is because I don't have any friends. I'm an introvert and for me it is very hard for me to make friends. I wish I had a better social life and so if I was able to restart the fall semester the first thing I would do differently is going out more and talking to more people and join some clubs that FSU has to offer.
