Administration: Pretty Lenient – The only strict enforcement I've noticed is that visiting hours are based on residence hall, and some of the halls require a contract saying you'll obey their rules of abstaining from drinking alcohol, and such.

Campus Quality: Constant Renewal – At any given moment, something on campus is under construction, but that's because they are constantly upgrading the facilities. Recently an entire floor of our main library, Strozier, was closed for about a year, but when the floor reopened all of the electronics were brand new, the floor had been remodeled and decorated and there was even a 24 hour Starbucks put in to accommodate the all of the late night scholars.

Academics: Every Teacher I've Had Is Amazing, for the Most Part – I've only had bad experiences with a couple of professors on the FSU campus. What I kick myself over is that I read the reviews for them on as well as the more formal SUSSAI review system that the campus makes available for students, but of course I thought I would be the exception and get along with said professor or love their class. I was wrong. I would recommend reading the reviews of your potential professors and considering them for a while before you actually take your class.

Parking: If you want to park on campus on school days, be sure to get to campus at basically 7am if you want a space.

Academics: Environmental Studies – There are many classes that are available with this major, and the university offers many different certificates and double majors that work well with the major.

Campus Quality: Social Scene – Not that easy to meet new people, but in my opinion the Greeks on campus are snobby and only assoicaite with "brothers" or "sisters"

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing sucks, it's a hassle parking because theres never any parking spots at FSU. It's horrible walking to school because it's so hott. Trying to live by campus off campus can be expensive too, or very ghetto. Not safe to walk at night

Academics: Professors are awesome, i can blindly pick professors without looking up ratings and feel confident that i'll have a good profressor. Registration makes Blackboard slow but thats normal. Workload is pretty good, you just have to balance your time.

Party Scene: Club Scene – Not much of a partier. I have done it a few times, but it doesn't interest me. Going clubbing as a single girl just means your looking to get laid.

Technology: Printing on Campus – I'm really sad that there's no place you can really get free printing in school. As a college student, it seems like EVERYTHING is expensive. Paper and Ink can really rack up my bill. I have freinds attending a community college who get free printing benefits, and just have to bring their paper!

Academics: Business Major – While the Business Major is has a very hard workload, it's very satisfying. I know that I'm really getting a good education, and not just free "A's". Its definately a challenge but I know that it will help me in the real world.

Health & Safety: In Full Effect – There is always going to be crime wherever you have people but remember safety is as safety does. Don't do things that will leave you vulnerable to being the victim of a crime like walking alone in the wee hours of the morning, secure your vehicles, bikes and other means of transportation and have them registered with FSU PD. Despite the crime that does occur, the campus police does keep the campus community in the know by sending out alert via email. Some security measures is the blue light trail which can help someone get in contact with campus police if they are in danger and there are numerous posts around campus. There is also the SAFE bus, which will give you a ride at night to anywhere on campus, use this because you paid for it in those student fees. Generally I have felt rather safe on campus, but I also have to say I don't do things that would put me at risk for becoming a victim of a crime.

Academics: Something for Anyone – Although in recent years since I've attended (2007-2011) a few programs were cut, but there are still many majors to choose from and some of those programs are world renown. Ample opportunity to study abroad if you so choose. In 2011, there was a new initiative started by Eric Barron, the President called the Garnet and Gold scholar for those students who have had experience in at least 3 of 5 areas in things like research, leadership and studying abroad. There is also an Honors program and registration is done online. The priority you get when registering depends on your earned credit hours.

Drug Safety: Be Careful – Drugs and alcohol are huge at FSU. I do not know many people that don't partake in one or the other. While many people find it difficult not to succumb to peer pressure, my friends and I have a very well balanced social and academic life without any problems.

Academics: Psychology Undergrad Student – I am in the College of Psychology, which I am more than satisfied with. I am applying to work in the psychology building, and can't wait to help with research studies. I have also participated in many experiments that are held on campus almost every day. The building is gorgeous, and the instructors are all very passionate.

Academics: Not everything that is taught is something that I consisder of use to me progressing as a young professional or an individual. Other than that, the registration process is easy and I love that I have so many options when it comes to choosing my electives.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Quality: Overall Great School – There are a lot of top notch programs. There are top notch athletics to take in. FSU is located in a college town so there are many different people to meet. Being in the state's capital also allows for many cool professional opportunities as well.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: Pretty Good Freshman Experience in Salley Hall – The school has done a good job refurbishing and building new dorms. I lived in Salley Hall my freshman year, and although it's not not new, it wasn't bad at all. There are a few I've been in however that are not very nice to say the least.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academics: Marketing Program Is Lacking – There are a few good marketing professors, but most of them are old and boring. Many of the classes I wanted to take weren't available because the college didn't have the money to offer them. I was able to minor in Hospitality and Communications and the coursework of each went towards my marketing degree. The building is pretty outdated although there are talks that a new building is in the works. Career services at the school is excellent though.

4 Recent Alumnus

Administration: Expectation of Being Mature Adults – FSU is not strick. Though they do expect students to abide by the student rule book and of course any other law established by the government. The campus expects students to follow the rules while at school as well as during any time spent away from the school grounds.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Food: Feels Like Your in the World of Harry Potter – My campus offers a variety of selction for dining to cater to the different perferences of students. The dinning halls are also beautiful . One of them even resembles the Great Hall in the Harry Potter films, allowing student to feel enchanted while they eat.

5 Recent Alumnus

Academics: FSU offers a wide selction of classes for students. Students are given the opportunity to take course towards their major but are also offered the opportunity to branch out and explore other areas of interest.

5 College Junior

Transportation: Bus Routes – There are bus routes at all the student housing facilities. This is because students are urged to take public transportation to school. Finding parking is a nightmare unless you get to school way early. Luckily they have a great bus route for this reason.

3 College Junior

Parking: So there are many parking garages and places to park, the school is seriously huge, but you have to get to school like an hour early if you want to find parking and not be late for class. For my first day of class I had to get there two hours early because if you don't show up the first day you're automatically dropped. So literally everyone shows up on the first day. It can be very hectic.

5 College Junior

Campus Quality: School Gym (Leech Center) – This is the campus gym. It's three stories!! It's amazing, they have everything from an indoor olympic sized pool, to an indoor running track. I love this place. If you were to get a membership at this kind of gym it would up costing you a pretty penny. However, the Leech center is free for all FSU students!!
