Party Scene: I Hate College but Love All the Parties – Nightlife at FSU is as good as it gets. With so many bars and clubs in Tallahassee, there is never a dull night. It's easy to get in most places especially if you have a fake. There are ways to get around including the Safe Bus, NightNole, and cabs.

Campus Housing: Mixed Feelings About Dorm Life – Dorms in Florida State University are very convenient for you can walk anywhere on campus and not have to worry about parking. Some of the best dorms include Degraff, Wildwood, and Gilchrist. Some of the worst dorms include Sally, Kellum, and Dorman. For the most part, it is an experience you should go through as a freshman.

Local Area: Party College Town – Florida State University is located in Tallahassee, FL which is more of a college town than the capital. There are many clubs/bars which is where most of the students spend their time when they are not studying or in class. The social culture revolves around partying and getting involved with the FSU team sports.

Majors: I have yet to apply for an internship, but do plan to in the near future.

Transportation: Public transportation such as the bus is very convenient when it comes to not having to find parking. The only thing that would make public transportation inconvenient would be how long it takes to get to class.

Campus Food: Dining Halls – For freshman year, dining halls are an easy go to place because most are walking distance from resident halls and not having to budget yourself so you are able to eat as much food as you want. Most students after freshman year do not purchase a meal plan due to the fact that after one year of eating at the same place it could get a little repetitive.

Scholarships: Work Hard – As most people know, hard work pays off. FSU gives a freshman university scholarship to incoming students to excelled in HS. This was crucial to me.

Athletics: Loyal Fans – FSU has a strong tradition of team performance and fan support. Our season tickets sold out within a month for the 2011 football season and fans drive hours each Saturday to see our team. Student tickets are easy to get, but on big games it's best to be part of the Seminole Student Boosters! Our stadium is made of beautiful brick and has become a Tallahassee landmark.

Party Scene: Every Night- Something to Do – FSU's nightlife is unparalleled. There is a place to be every night of the week and the drink specials are unbeatable. Being a part of Greek life is a big part of being involved in FSU nightlife because some bars get deemed- "Greek". Potbelly's and Yiannis are predominantly Greek bars, but of course everyone goes out. Being under 21 isn't a big deal though, most places accept 18+ and when there's live music and a fun group of people, you can't go wrong.

Majors: Somewhat Difficult – I'm currently trying to get into the BFA program for Graphic Design and in order to get in I need to complete 18 hours of pre-reqs, have an A.A. and minimum GPA of 2.5, submit a portfolio of my best work and be reviewed by the art faculty. Applications are accepted every semester.

Overall Experience: I Love My School – This school is by far the best place to learn and make new friends. The teachers are passionate about what they do and they make sure you understand everything they're teaching you. I love the atmosphere when football season starts and you can tell students are proud to be a Nole.

Guys & Girls: Usually 8 out of every 10 people are wearing Florida State colors. Everyone on campus seems to be outgoing and school spirited. There is a wide range of different races on campus. They love dressing in the latest fashion and having the newest gadgets. People are friendly and there seems to be a lot of couples lately. Overall, I enjoy the people at FSU and give it an A.

Health & Safety: Health and Security Are Two Different Things – You're really safe here from crime and things like that. The campus cops have taken a lot of precautions and set up a lot of ways that you can receive help. Health is a different issue. Although there's a new wellness center being built, Thagard Student Health Center is a tiny building usually open only until 4pm... its the only way to seek medical treatment on campus.

5 College Freshman

Administration: It's Basically Your Call – Although there are campus cops, you can pretty much get away with anything. You just have to know where to draw the line. If it involves parking, however, good luck getting away with anything at all.

Greek Life: Greeks Are Loved or Hated – Generally speaking, you know a Greek when you see one. They have a lot of fun, but they can be extremely stereotypical.

Technology: All of the internet access is great. I have had no problems connecting my computer or any others. The computers in the classrooms and library are all up to date and work just fine. The network is totally adequate.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Great Team Spirit – Everywhere on campus you will see Garnet and Gold! I playes intermurals soccer and it was so much fun. I made new friends and got to stay in shape for that semester!

Off-Campus Dining: Hole in the Places – There are a lot of food chain, ( Chipotle, Jimmy Jons, Panera) and then there are great food places like Monks, Mellow Mushroom, and Cafe's that are super chill and really make the best hangouts!

4 College Junior

Campus Quality: The most frequent facilities I use on campus are the Leach Center ( gym) both Strozier and Dirac Libray and the student Union. The gym is three stories and has better than a membership to the YMCA!

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: GO FOOTBALL – Atheletics at FSU = FOOTBALLFOOTBALLFOOTBALL. Our Seminoles' are climbing the ACC ranks and school spirit has never been higher. We also have a great basketball team, women's soccer, and baseball/softball. FSU also takes their Intramural Teams pretty seriously, and anyone can join and have fun. There is also a HUGEE gym called the Leach Center that is three stories tall and free to FSU students. They have classes and personal trainers to help get in shape.

Off-Campus Housing: Tons of Student Housing, Not the Best Neighborhood. I'm giving it a B- because there are TONS of off-campus living options (such as scholarship housing or apartment complexes) and they're almost all within the campus or the campus bus route, but the neighborhoods tend to not be super safe at night time. Tallahassee is a big city, so the crime rate is a little higher here. You definitely shouldn't walk anywhere by yourself at night, and remember to lock your doors. Other than that, the actually complexes are usually pretty nice. There's alot of student housing and alot of regular lease type places, so it gives you different living options.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Great Food, Close to Campus – Not only is there food ON campus (such as a Chili's, Papa Johns, and Denny's) but there are good, fairly cheap options off campus. You have the ever popular Moe's for the best nachos/fajitas/burritos you could ask for, at a Subway set-up. You have Taco Bell, Burger King, MoMo's pizza, and Fire House Subs. Mr. Roboto Hibachi is really popular and of course Jimmy Johns subs delivers! There is an infinite amount of dining options near Florida State.

5 College Junior

Majors: The School of Hospitality here at FSU is among the best in the nation. With its experienced instructors and the program's heavy involvement in student life, the DSH makes sure its students are taken care of.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: So Many Applications – Bright Futures is great, don't get me wrong. Unfortunately it is covering less and less of tuition meaning students will have to find more ways to help supplement their college education.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drinking Is Always Popular at College – Florida State is KNOWN for being a big time party school. It's not difficult to find a party or people to drink with. It's just one of the many party aspects of FSU.
