Technology: You always have access to the kinds of computers you need. For example, I was an art major and our labs had top of the line mac desktops. Printing can be a little tougher and expensive, but you learn quickly where to go for printing.

Local Area: As long as you learn to navigate the area, there is plenty to do and campus is relatively safe. Unfortunately it is easy to end up in a bad part of town if you don't know what you're doing. But there is plenty to do, and plenty of folks to do it with!

Local Area: There are plenty of outdoor opportunities for students, such as camping/lake trips and games and such. Nightlife is great - there is a party every night and great nightclubs. However, if the party scene isn't for you, it may be a bit more difficult to find nighttime recreation, since there is a pretty big party atmosphere at FSU. FSU has several safety precautions in place for students, such as an emergency pole system, night bus, and safe van, but sexual abuse and robberies can still be common, mostly by non-students.

Academics: FSU is one of the top universities in the nation because it students continuously perform high, and maintain the standards of a large state university. Teachers or TAs are always available to help the students excel, and in my experience, professors have a real love do what they teach and a genuine desire to pass their knowledge onto their students.

Majors: As a theatre major, I cannot speak highly enough of the program here at FSU. I have so many opportunities and doors open for me that I know I would not have if I wasn't here. I have met Broadway producers and actors - who are all FSU alumni who have given me and my fellow students great advice about the real life as a theatre major after college. In the fall, I will be studying abroad at the London Study Center, studying theatre with some of the most renowned directors internationally.

Majors: The school itself is great, and both the chemistry and math programs are very strong with great faculty who really care about the well-being and future of the students. They are more than willing to help with not only classwork, but share their research and help you figure out things you can do with your major.

Majors: As far as getting into the program, I was automatically accepted into my major after I obtained 60 credit-hours. I thought it was supposed to be more of a process, but it was very pain-free for me.

5 College Senior

Technology: There are many of them to choose from, all have the latest software on them, and are in good condition.

4 College Senior

Majors: I have two majors: Pure Mathematics and Chemical Science. I personally love the two programs. The teachers in both are very well-versed in their fields and very dedicated to the students (all the teachers I had were, anyway). I haven't narrowed down my direct career path, but luckily there is a chemistry professor who is very invested in me and is willing to help me find a good fit for me; I meet with him at the end of the week!

3 College Senior

Diversity: The school is pretty diverse and there are many active clubs on the subect

3 College Senior

Majors: I was enrolled in the FSU-Teach program for a semester, and was able to go into the classroom and teach right away. There was a lot of planning and effort that went into it, but the rewards were great, seeing the children's face light up when they understood a new concept. There was no pay; it was strictly for experience and exposure to the classroom.

Transportation: Public transportation at FSU is incredible. There are buses that travel both on campus and off campus and arrive about every five minutes. Also, there is a safe bus that will take you wherever you need to go at night free of charge.

Parking: Unfortunately, parking is usually horrible. I've heard stories of students having to drive around for 1 hour+ looking for a parking space. My advice is to come to campus at least an hour before class if you need to find parking. FSU has recently added parking garage apps (available for iPhones and Android) that let you know the availability of parking in the parking garages so that is definitely helpful. The best part is that parking is absolutely free!

4 College Junior

Technology: We're slowly upgrading to have both Macs and PCs. I think FSU is doing a good job in having the best and fastest computers available, whether the user prefers MACs or PCs!

4 College Sophomore

Greek Life: You know when it's rush week. If you're not a part of it, you can still tell who is rushing. From what I've heard, it's a blast, but if you're more low key, then it's not for you.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There are people from around the world. There is no reason to worry about avoiding someone whom you were not too fond of because the chances of you two meeting again on campus are slim.

Parking: There are quite a few parking garages, but you have to get there early in the morning to even dream about getting a spot.

4 College Junior

Athletics: School spirit is huge here. Almost everyone loves our football team and packs the stadium. It's a great experience, and we all love our mascot and other traditions! The War Chant is incredible in person. Basketball is almost as big here, but the rest of the sports aren't as big, which is to be expected.

4 College Junior

Weather: During spring, summer, and early fall, it gets pretty hot but never grossly humid. You can experience a nice chill during fall and winter, unlike in other parts of Florida, but you don't have to worry about snow!

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Pretty good. They are within walking distance. Love the sweet shop.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: There are a lot of choices for Greeks, but you don't have to be Greek to belong.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: There are multiple opportunities for all students to participate at different levels in a wide variety of sports. These are supported financially by the university as well.

Local Area: Everything in Tallahassee is surrounded by FSU as well as the college aged residents living there. There is a lot to do and never a boring moment!

3 College Senior

Local Area: Lots of stuff on campus, but off campus the activities are limited. Still, its not hard to find something to do

5 College Freshman

Local Area: I love this school! It is so fun. There are a million things to do and being a part of FSU is an amazing experience. There is so much Seminole pride everywhere you go. In town we have the rez and a park or two, downtown, lots of resturaunts, bars, clubs, frats, sororities, mall, movies, and best of all football:) Definitely a fun place to be. Oh and it's very safe too. I have never felt unsafe here.
