4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Professors do want you to succeed. The campus is big. Students are chilled and helpful and the whole vibe is nice. The food, at least if you live off-campus, is quite expensive. Broke college students guys!

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: It's top of the line, I feel totally safe walking around campus alone.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: We have a wonderful pool of experienced successful alumni, and the quality of education recieved from FSU will have you prepared for any job in your field.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love most of the material that I learn about, and most of the teachers are passinate and engaging.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Typical college dorm style living. Good expereience to say you did it, but would not do it again.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Wonderful philanthropies and sense of community. Great relationships come from these as well as a good time and friends for life.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The aboslute best college experience I could ever even dream of. I've met my best friends here and I've been exposed to career fields that I know I want to pursue for the rest of my life.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I live in Smith Hall, the oldest, mustiest, dirtiest, most thin-walled and highly populated dorm on campus. We have rooms the size of shoe boxes, with storage space for one split between two. Despite all of this, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I've met so many people in the lobbies, bathrooms, and doing laundry, which has made my transition into college much more comfortable. I just wish I didn't end up paying $500/mo for such poor living conditions.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I'm impartial towards Greek life. I appreciate their philanthropy work and the weekend entertainment, but I wouldn't want to join a sorority myself. I know that many people are either gun-ho for their organization or think that all of those involved are Satan reincarnated, though.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: I couldn't believe the spirit and pride that the Noles have! I'm incredibly fortunate to go to such a hugely influential school that I can be so proud of.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: FSUPD is available around the clock. Campus feels generally safe, although we did have the school shooting which was extremely scary. Besides that, I haven't experienced anything else as far as crime on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Almost all of my professors have been amazing and passionate about their classes. A few of the prerequisites seem pointless but I understand why they are mandatory, because not all of us had the same education quality throughout elementary to high school. Class sizes range from 30 students to 250 but are easy to pass and get help either way. There are many amazing and interesting classes that can be taken to fulfill certain requirements. I wish I had the time to take extra classes, just because they sound awesome and I'd love to learn about the topic.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They make it pretty easy to find internships and research opportunities. They reach out via email a ton in order to try to get students involved. There are lots of job fairs and things like that available as resources to students.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I know nothing about Greek life.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: Obviously the football program is huge, but I did intramural tennis and it was very enjoyable.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I enjoy going to Florida State.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Though there is a variety, there is that little issue on space for students. Other than that the experience is interesting and full of learning

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: In the semester I've been in there I have never had any problem and I really feel safe on campus

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: For me Engineering Day is one of the best days to look for opportunities in the Engineering College

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Very enjoyable and great learning experience

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: It is pretty big and well at least from 10 people 3 or 5 are greeks

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Not all the sports have available a facility but the wide use of the other facilities makes it bearable

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The variety of majors is incredible and the college experience is enjoyable.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I absolutely love my school, and don't disagree that it's one of the best college experiences out there. I just wish that my professors and other instructors (mostly grad students) cared more and had more initiative towards aiding their students with grades. It was my first semester in college this Fall, and I would have appreciated it a little more if my professors had made the transition a little less painful. The courseload was understandable, but the level of support was severely upsetting.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel very safe ON campus, but my dorm is the only one OFF campus and the surrounding area is a bit... fishy. Just have a few bucks on hand to give to suspicious people or homeless when you're off campus. It's actually a lot safer than most cities. And campus security is great! There are light/emergency poles almost every 100 feet!
